Controller Direction Change

Hi guys. I ve got some sort o issue. I ve setup my wheel and when i play and i am in low speed corners the wheel turns normally but when i am in high speed and i turn the wheel the car doesn t turn. Simply when i am in high speed the car doens t turn. Can i do somenthing about it?

This years game has finally added steering degrees of rotation slider so you can leave your wheel settings at auto

you can still change to any rotation you like just make sure the wheel settings match the in game settings

• Me too it's a glitch when i have my controller on the wheel isn't properly calibrated but on other games it works fine , ALL MY SETTING ARE CORRECT BY THE WAY only happens on xbox one apparently 

Yeah, its pretty * *. I dont know why slow corners the wheel is fine and in high speed corners i cand steer😂🤣😂

Summarize your bug  The controller direction change is making it impossible to drive in high speed. It is really impossible to race against high level/esports drivers with this happening. Its almost like an massive input delay it is that bad, and over previous games it hasn't been no where near as bad as this. Which area is the bug/glitch in? TT

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try the controller in high speed, fast direction changing corners.
What happens when the bug occurs? Not necessarily a bug, but it's making it extremely hard for pad players to compete.
What do you expect to see? Some what of a level playing field, it is really hard to compete at the top with the FFB and the input delay happening is making it virtually impossible.

Although I've selected TT,  it is happening in all modes. I really hope this is all seen and taken into account

Same here, this is driving me insane.

Racing at all is pretty much impossible.

Iv got a similar problem. It feels like steering assist is still on, even though iv got it set as off. Il turn to take the corner, but barely get any turn. For example, turn 1 at Bahrain, I push the analogue stick all the way right, but the in game steering wheel is only turning halfway? then the steering wheel starts to jitter as if the driver is trying to correct the car, but iv still got my finger pushing the analogue stick fully right. The game also tries to keep you near or on the driving line when near a corner, which is annoying when trying to overtake another car!! I play on PC with a PS4 controller. Anyone else having a similar problem? and anyone know of a way to fix the problem? Makes the game unplayable!!!

I have the same issue on xbox controller for pc, calibration is good, but the game adds a huge steering input lag, especially when going from left to right or right to left.

It takes like an entire second to steer to the other side.

During the recording I go 100% right then 100% left multiple times

We clearly see the steering is not smooth, it pauses for a fraction of a second when the (virtual) steering wheel is perfectly straight instead of steering smoothly and quickly from one side to another.

At high speed, the same sequence of input does not even make the car zigzag, the car goes straight, it's impossible to dodge anything.
