F1 22 - Game Crashing, Lagging, Faulty + All data lost:
I've been having problems with F1 22 for the last few days. This is on an Xbox One S with either a G920 Wheel or a Controller. The title sequences run as usual but when you start the game it takes you to an EA Login is terribly laggy delayed and just not working in general. From here the "syncing online services" message continually pops up. The whole game doesn't work functionally. Then when you go to the race nothing at all on the wheel works/runs and it doesn't allow you to use any buttons. The Xbox pop-up menu also takes about 10 minutes to open and the whole screen freezes. It doesn't do this on other games such as Dirt Rally 2.0. After trying all kinds of fixes such as restarting, calibration e.t.c I decided to uninstall and reinstall the game. This caused all my liveries, settings, customisation, and career saves to disappear (the account still exists) and the problem seems even worse. A fair few swear words were had as I've spent countless hours on the game losing countless hours of settings, career series and most importantly competitive online stats.
After digging through the forums my new theory is that the game account was corrupted or something similar and thus it was working terribly bad and then when I reinstalled it (should have kept my data) this caused all of the data to be removed. Really pissed off to be honest and the EA support wasn't particularly helpful, could really do with some help. Can provide a video if needed.
- @tsmullet 👍. They started rolling out the fix yesterday. It’s a shame you have to make sure your apart off the insider program. And have to wait for general release
