First off, I just want to say that it is utterly disgraceful that you are required to log in to the EA Play account to access any online feature at all. Makes me long for the simple days where your PSN account was sufficient.Secondly, I can't log in to online services. Still can't log in because apparently my login credentials have expired and my password needs resetting. When I looked into my EA account it turns out that my PSN ID is not linked to the email address I was expecting it to so I have no idea what credentials the game is looking for, which is also unhelpful.All I want is the option to input my full login credentials again so I can sort all of this out rather than blindly guess what it is the game is looking for.

Hi Ea,I pre-ordered F1 2022 Champions Edition digital game, for some apparent reason i cannot log into my EA account, on F1 2021 it automatically logged in for me and the first time starting F1 2022 is says im unable to log in and i need to reset my password. I have followed all the prompts by resetting my password, changing my account name, and every time i try to log into the game it still says i can't sign in i have to reset my password, please help me out as this is a little frustrating as I've been looking forward to this game for a while now.Thanks

Do we have other options than inform European Consumer Centre about EA, make a police report about EA and refund all the EA games from Steam? Because account is locked by EA and we can't play any of EA games, that we have paid.

I am unable to play any of the new EA games online because of their EA account usage. I've been on a call with support today who notified me that I have an old EA account which was automatically disabled due to inactivity. This old account is apparently linked to my PSN.At some point I must have created a new EA account. And here's the kicker - it let me use the same email address as the old account (I've only ever had one email address - and it's the same as my PSN email!). So, now I can't reactivate the old account because whenever I attempt to reset my password, it resets it for the new account. Apparently there is no other way for me to access my old account.Their proposed solution was to create a new PSN, which is wholly unviable. You cannot expect customers to create new PSN accounts (where numerous previous purchases are tied) just to play EA games online.

There is yet hope for those of you who are seeing the "password expired" notification and are unable to play online. When I called live chat, the representative requested my email information for the EA account as well as my Xbox gamer tag. He stated that the account was cancelled due to inactivity (15 years), but that he could unlink the email address, allowing me to link my Xbox Live account to my EA account. I restarted the game and saw a splash screen requesting that I sign in to EA (I had not previously had this option). I typed my email address and password, and voilà, I was online. I’m on Series X with Ultimate Gamepass. TL:DR Contact support.Ask for email address to be unlinked (assuming you know the email address)Reboot the game.Fill in details.It’s lights out and away we go!

Mine was apparently deleted too. Support said to reactivate the account using the email address that created the account, but I'm using the account...So I thought maybe I created my current account with a different email address and then changed it to my current email address. The support page says in this case to change the email address of the new account. I changed the email to something else, tried to reset the password of the email which would have created the account, but it says the account doesn't exist.The problem with this is apparently there is no way to unlink your PSN account if the EA account has been deleted, which is possibly the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. Especially seeing as there is no way now to recover my account.

Was stated as a requirement.
Not a console player, but on PC we have Origin or EA app. Apparently, one is working the other not. One is EOL? one is beta. Guess which way around it works?

from what I have understood, here is, that your PSN ID is linked to another EA Account already, and you don't know the credentials of that EA Account?

I don't know if my PSN is linked to another account. If it isn't, I'm not being given the option to link it to an EA account. If it is, I don't know where it is linked to.

I have exactly the same issue, reset my password a few times and still won’t connect, I’ve reset the console and still comes up with reset password

could you try and head to our login page here and try to login with your PSN Account and let me know if that worked? If you are logged in you can go into your EA Account profile and change e-mail addresses and also update your password.

I attempted that, but it came up with needing to reset my password. I have a feeling that the PSN ID is connected to an email account that I have only just found out has been deactivated.

I see, this might be a tricky one, but do you remember what e-mail address you used on the EA Account before? If yes, please try to send a password reset to that e-mail. If you use multiple emails, try all of them and send out a password reset and see if one of them gets a mail with a reset link.

Let me know if you could find the connected email address.

I've spoke with an EA advisor and I've learned that the EA account attached to the PSN ID has been deleted. Since the email address attached to that EA account has been deactivated, I fear that it may be unfixable.
