This bug is in the game since it was released. Actually it was already in F1 2021. I reported it long time ago, but EA just doesn´t care.
I recommend just spamming join a lobby and after 30 minutes you probably get into one lobby that is not bugged. You can also try to join a specific lobby, but you risk that there will be some stupid settings for the race.
i tried spamming the lobby but that also dont work. Unfortunately, i dont have Avast. im downloading an update now, maybe they fixed it.
Do you have crossplay on? Turn it off and it'll be fine. We've all complained about the issues with crossplay but they do nothing about it.

I have been having issues since Oct 22. The only way I can play (PS5) is by disabling the crossplay function which is disappointing as I bought it because I could use the crossplay function. Brought this up many times and no one seems to do anything about it! A lot of other people, regardless of console or PC, are having the same issues.
