F1 Sim Racing broadcast graphics looked terrible!

I've just watched the latest round of F1 Sim Racing World Championship on F1's Official YouTube channel, and I have to say, the state of the game's graphics looked really concerning, especially in the rain. There is no spray at all! The Xbox 360 F1 games had incredible spray effects. How has this been removed over a decade and a few console generations on? It makes the cars look floaty and low resolution, almost like PS2 graphics.

Will we see a return to F1 2011-13's dynamic weather and track conditions? Can we have a return of the spray effect that blurred the screen as you passed behind the wake of another car? Can we tone down the surface reflection that blankets the track and takes away any sense of undulation and texture?

Back on F1 2013, the other cars had realistic spray. Your camera screen would blur up as the rain drops hit it as you passed under a car and clear quickly when you had clear air. The track surface had realistic dynamic standing water and puddles form, and a dry line as you lapped. The clouds and rain could also come in from different directions and with different intensities making certain corners wet or dry well before others leading to fantastic strategy calls. Far from what we have in the current game where it's either raining or dry, and with transitions within 2-3 laps. We all watched the Miami GP last week when drivers were being told to watch for spots of rain at certain corners. Let's bring this fantastic feature back!

And lets get a wet weather Time Trial back too! How else are players supposed to practice on an empty wet track and develop setups!?
