Agreed.
I think Codemasters / EA assume it will force us to buy the latest versions instead, as they are the only ones available.
But it seems more likely to me that there are many people out there who would/could NEVER spend £50+, but would still be willing to pay 15 or 25 for an older version.
On top of that, it's pretty clear that those who can afford to buy the latest version are usually the ones who buy it EVERY year anyway, so again, no sales lost there.
And yes, I know that older games sometimes cease to work with new hardware, but I am still playing the F1 games back to F1 2012, so it's pretty lame to remove them when they still function. Maybe they are just too lazy to keep 'housekeeping' them to keep them running, but each time they remove one, they are removing the history of the car shapes, rules, circuits and drivers from the collection.
They have recently even removed f1 21 from the ps5 store not sure why. Anyway I managed to get f1 2020 for £2.00 from cash converters the reason I went with 20 is I have good memories from it and is one of the best reviewed.

That's a good deal. I thought a used dvd would not work if the serial number had already been used? (edit: wait, I guess you are talking about the PS version, not pc, so you are probably able to use a second hand disc).
I'd like to find pre owned F1 '13 and '20 cheap, but I wasn't sure they would be useable if they've already been installed previously.

I bought F1 2020 for PS4 in CEX store, also pre-owned, and it just works fine.
And I buy PC versions from Steam so I guess that wouldn't cause a duplicate SN problem.
You can always try eBay 😉- antonmorse2 years agoRising Traveler
Yes thanks, unfortunately it's the pc version I want. I usually buy Steam versions but I missed 2020. But I'm assuming a used pc dvd would not work, unless someone knows different.

@antonmorse yeah I have a ps5 so I found quite a lot of good bargains from places like music magpie and cash converters and cex. Em I just had a look they have f1 2013 on cdkeys.com for £4.69 on pc if that is what you have.

Thanks, unfortunately, cdkeys and all others have listed it at a cheap price for a long time but it's permanently sold out.
