PC Immersive Pit Stop Button Mapping Not Showing in Menu

Is there a missing button binding for the Immersive Pit Stop function? I've searched up and down and through all menus and still can't find it. A fundamental flaw to a feature that if not working forces you to race in the Broadcast pit stop mode or suffer slow performance by the crew in pit stops. Please fix ASAP.

  • So yes, in a blindingly dense move they didn't put in a mapping. But me and a few friends have had some luck pressing the same thing that is bound to the overtake/ERS button (across Fanatec and other peripherals) so maybe give that a go?

  • I fixed it this way: Going into the Logitech G29 profile in game and changing the buttons in that profile.

I was having this same problem as I created a profile from scratch, configuring all the buttons from scratch.

The button that we want for the interactive pit is the "accept/advance" (depending on the translation), it is a "Menu Button" that in the standard G29 comes in the X button. If you don't use Logitech, check if there is any steering wheel profile that in addition to "control scheme", also has "menu scheme" configured, this is the profile that will work.

On Thrustmaster the button that by default should be used for pit stop is button 6. The problem is that even pressing it does not take over despite the fact that for other activities it works correctly. I don't know what to do

Isn't it under something daft like "special"? I'm sure that's what mine is on Xbox/g920

Would you mind having a look to confirm? I don't think it is what you've just said but it would be interesting for you if you do see something like this (maybe in varies with platform?) There's been a similar discussion in the following thread recently, where I've posted that as far as I can see it's the Accept/Advance button that appears 5 th down in the Menu section.

Solved: Where can i find te setting for the control of steering in the pit - Answer HQ (ea.com)

  • For me when i enter the pits.. the countdown to turn in starts and just under that it shows what button i must press. G29 it is the Enter icon button in the red scroll wheel.

  • Oh i forgot... it is mapped under manual pitstop in settings.

I don't think you're right, but I'm unsure what that pit stop mapping is for. I bound that to a button on my wheel, and it didn't turn me in the pits, when the timer countdown ended. This game is a cluster you know. Everything seems broken.
