I've sent the reports up for review, but I'm afraid I don't have any updates at the moment.
If I have some news to share I'll let you know.
Make sure that in the Steam Controller config (Steam Settings) that your Playstation Configuration Support is deselected (turned off).
Dual Sense works fine for me (Triggers and Rumble) when this is deselected.

Has anyone else been able to check this? Does disabling the Steam Controller Configuration Support work for you?
- Nylink4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Kent No, it doesn't. Changing those settings in steam does not work for me and the other people I have discussed this issue with on reddit and the steam forums. I am using a xbox series controller, still have no feedback with the triggers.

I paid 79.99$ come on man. This AAA game price and look at the problem we had. Codemaster or EA you have fix this.

F1 2021:
- Xbox One controller
- Controller vibration works
- Trigger rumble works
- Steam input disabled vs enabled makes no difference
- PS5 Dualsense controller
- Controller vibration works
- Adaptive triggers work
- Steam input disabled vs enabled makes no difference
F1 22:
- Xbox One controller
- Controller vibration works
- Trigger rumble does not work
- Steam input disabled vs enabled makes no difference
- PS5 Dualsense controller
- Controller vibration does not work
- Adaptive triggers do not work
- Steam input disabled vs enabled makes no difference
- Turning on "PlayStation Configuration Support" while Steam input is enabled adds weak controller vibration, which I assume is due to the controller now being emulated as Xbox Controller (Ingame button prompts become Xbox buttons, and the game labels it as "Xbox Controller")

sometimes the force feedback is not working at all but when it's on it's so damn weak, no comparison to f1 21.
the way it is rn it's just undriveable. im not saying i'm anywhere near the top guys, but i used to be top 600 in tt in every f1 game since 2017 and rn i cant even finish a single lap without spinning or crashing.. this is just frustrating.

Adaptive trigger works for you? I had steam input disabled for the game already (only with that the dualsense buttons prompts are displayed correctly) and then tested to disable PlayStation support, it's the same with only haptic feedback working.
There is another post where other have the same issue with adaptive triggers, any additional setting you have?
