Re: F1 19 Weekly Event

Lol how i was expecting. EA has erased my comments two times. If you still expect something from this company then you will be disappointed. First EA and now codemasters. Altough i loved and bought almost all of their racing games i will never buy games from them in the future. It seems they are not able or not wantig to help us. It's the same like in Fifa 2020. Serveral ppl report an issue with Volta and EAs a anser is 'What a problem? There is no problem.' If they really wanted to reactivate these achievements then they already would do it. The only answer we got was a server closure on several older F1 titels. Lol guys wake up don't support this stupid companies anymore. They speak with each other and ask themselves how they can in the future make us achievement and trophy hunters fell like we were nothig worth. These mangers have some small cohones and small hot dogs. Not big enough to get an orgasm to their wifes so they are frustating in their life. And their investors are the same in every aspect. EA was great in the past but now they prostitute themselves for a little bit more money and this is pretty sad. If i am nothing worth for them then they also don't for me. EA abd codemasters should be aware that they won't have any success without us gamers but they treating us like we weren't there. Please all gamers wake up there don't buy stuff from them anymore untill they fix thoose broken achievents. And not only in this game.

Please could you give us some update? These silence just makes this awkward situation more uncertain. We would like to know if is there any chance to be able to play the weekly events.

Just repeat the same event over and over again infinitely.

Let me follow-up with this, but to be honest with you F1® 2019 is an old game and I don't think that will be possible to do as it was for F1® 2022.

@EA_Groguet Can you at least ask the devs whether it was fair to take weeky events one year after release down? Not mention special events. They out the special events online silently at now there are no weekly or special. Thats totally unfair. Without the trophy hunting community i've never realised that weekly events were closed. And now we have such an big amount of server closures that's not normal. Alone 13 games last year in such a shorten time and all at once. All EA titels. Not mention games from other developers like Ubisoft and there online only titels. And now Codemasters titels.Do they talk to each other secretly? If they don't want to keep onlkn service alive then they should not do such trophies and achievements. Only console gamers are treaten like this. Lol in the future i'll buy only singleplayer games but none from EA/Codemasters/Ubi or whatever they are all calling. Ubisoft turns at least the services for older games on. Rven on 360 at least for a few weeks. And what is doing EA they fool ppl. Look at several posts of Fifa 20. Closing server several months earlier. That's not the fine English way. Again without us gamers you were nothing EA. 

@EA_GroguetTo be honest F1 2019 is not that old. I would say not old at all. Especially if you still able to play much-much older titles from the same series.

Also we are not talking about shutting down the complete online service for F1 2019, just a smaller part of it. So if you still keep alive the regular online play, it would be fair if you keep alive all the online game modes, especially if it has trophies.

I really cannot imagine why is so problematic to add a few more rows to the event list database. I'm pretty sure it would take like minutes, but for some reason you guys like to torture the fans...

Why on earth sell the game with online modes, and shutdown the servers after only 4 years. It's not funny. I mean, you put your logo at start screen and then this.  Disregard to many F1 fans who bought your product.

As you may know, the last F1 2019 online event took place in February 2013... and not 4 years ago, correct?

Why wouldn't it be possible anymore?

I think the team of developers that enabled the last online event are still working at EA today, aren't they?

Using the "game's release date" as a justification for not adding or repeating online events is an excuse that disappoints its users.

As you might know, EA will be shutting down online servers for several PS3/Xbox 360 F1 games in March.

This will allow EA to save money so could you please consider using part of this money to have a few F1 2019 devs add new weekly events ingame and satisfy customers.

You told us almost 2 months ago that you follow up this topic. Is there any new?
I know EA is a huge company and things are not going fast because of the bureaucracy, but could you please give so at least some updates?

As you can see, many players want the online back. Not just here but in many other forums.

Please solve this issue, make the trophies obtainable again for a while. You could just repeat the same event over again, nothing fancy.

Or you are just OK with the fact that you are leaving behind the gamers with a couple unobtainable trophies for a 4 year old game, seriously? Especially if anyone could play with the 10+ years old games from the same series (F1 2010 is still totally obtainable)?

I'm pretty angry because we have to raise voice here and EA just silently disable features in a still living game. Also we have to ping you on this forum in every month to give us some info. I see you just want this issue to fade and let it go as silently as possible. No official statement, nothing...

So let me ask one more time:

Please make the platinum obtainable for F1 2019!

You have many options and none of them look too complicated:

- Turn the service back on and add some events to the database. You could create only one event without an expiration or just make it 10 years, we do not care.

- Fix the trophy requirements for something else to make it possible to complete.

- Remove the problematic trophies.

It is pretty sad that we have to suggest solutions to you, but my blood is boiling how could you do this with this fine community...

We are still pleading to have the Weekly events added back to F1 2019. There are still hundreds of players of the community who support this business and want to complete this game as part as their F1 series collection. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS. THANK YOU! 🙂

The last event released for F1 2019 happened in February 2013, it's not that old... please talk to the developers who updated the F1 2019 server in 2013, to reopen these events once again... they can do it.

The F1 2019 community needs this opportunity too.

PLEASE MAKE THE WEEKLY EVENT ACHIEVEMENTS OBTAINABLE AGAIN - EA NEVER NOTIFIED US THAT THIS FEATURE WOULD BE DISCONTINUED.

Please let the events run again. It's not fair that you put the trophies/achievements in but pc versons doesn't have them. You should do something @Codemaster team otherwise you will loose a faithfull customer. Have all Grid games (even on Xbox) F1 titels from 2010 till 2022 all Dirt games from Dirt till Dirt Rally 2.0 (also on Xbox). Don't you think you owe at least me something. I think there are more customers like me so you owe all of us something. @EA this is your last chance to do wrong things from the past well otherwise i will never ever buy games distributet or developed by you or someone who is under your wing.

I just totally agree. I definitely will not buy any further EA F1 games.

The lack of support for this trophy feels like an oversight that undermines the otherwise stellar experience F1 2019 provides. Given the number of players who have outright stated they will no longer be purchasing any further F1 games until this is resolved, you surely now have a clear business case here for addressing this issue. This is also a clear opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitments to quality and player satisfaction, reinforcing the trust and loyalty we have in your brand.

This approach also aligns with the growing expectation among gamers that developers will continue to improve and support their products over time, contributing to a positive and lasting relationship with your audience. Compared to later instalments, F12019 is well known within the community for being a superior game. I ask that you seriously listen to your player community and please re-consider providing support for this.

Seriously?? Must be a joke... the game "WAS" ONLY 4 years old, when the Events been removed...

Cost NOTHING to REPAIT the SAME event, over and over....
