@DukeOfAntwerpThis change wouldn't take at least a month to finish, stop defending their laziness lol
Stop pretending you are a game dev lol
If you reported this one month ago and it would made it to todays release I would not trust CM anymore. You can't just make changes and push it out in a build. These thing need testing so stop being so lazy yourself and start informing yourself how video games are made. The build we play today is older than one month
@DukeOfAntwerpI'm not pretending that, I learn game development, I know roughly how long something takes or not. Testing the simplest thing doesn't take more than a week .And you are so wrong. How would the build that we play today is older than one month??
I have no idea what you mean by that. The Miami kerb at S3 got added in a recent patch. In WIP state the kerb was missing in creator videos, but right now it's there after release, which means there was an update less than 1-2 weeks ago. ANd testing out new kerbs doesn't take more than a week, stop lying to yourself.
They could copy-paste Abu Dhabi kerbs to COTA, and it would still work, and be better than what we have right now. And answer to the main point of what I am saying, don't pick out a random sentence and answer to that.
And I'll repeat, since you seem to ignore what I say, Hungaroring's chicane has been changed in real life back in 2014-2015. People reported this change every year to CM, asked them to change the chicane so it would be just like real life. Guess what, 8 years later, they still haven't updated it, yet we asked them every year. But surely it's my fault for not reporting the issue earlier

@Tibi2199Ok tell me now which games you will be making in the future so I can avoid those game at all times because you don't seem to have a clue of game development.
Regarding what you said about the Hungaroring already answers why it's weird to assume that something you reported 1 month ago would be done by release date.- Cpt_Balloonhand4 years agoNot applicable

Regarding what you said about the Hungaroring already answers why it's weird to assume that something you reported 1 month ago would be done by release date. It's a triangular kerb. Not a complex character model. The change would literally take minutes. As @Tibi2199 already pointed out, they could even re-use the orange kerbs from Abu Dhabi (the ones at the apex in the slower corners) which are quite bumpy. Copy, paste. Done. Not sure where you get the idea that this would take weeks to do.
Yes, integrating it into a build that gets released would take weeks, because they wouldn't just release a patch for this one issue. But let's be honest here, CM takes years to fix simple things like this, look at all the other tracks. Austria's kerbs are still from 2016. Who knows why.... There isn't really a good excuse for it.- DukeOfAntwerp4 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@Cpt_Balloonhands It's not because something takes minutes to do it will be ready in weeks for the public. Every change in a build needs to go trough various checks or I do hope CM does this.
I really don't get how people can assume that changes asked a month before release date would even make it to the release build. Do people really think June was a very calm month at CM? "oh I know what we can do to kill the time. Someone mentioned something about kerbs on COTA, with nothing to do until release date let's fix that as there are no bugs to squash"

Regarding what you said about the Hungaroring already answers why it's weird to assume that something you reported 1 month ago would be done by release date.No need to get this defensive bud. But I'll let you know, don't worry.
But I see that you have trouble understanding the English language. It's the second time I say that Hungaroring issue has been reported for YEARS, since 2014, and it's still not fixed. Do you not understand that I'm not the first person to report the issue?
Hopefully you do now, and it's not just Hungaroring, people have asked CM to fix other tracks too. And you can look at my thread where I pointed out the issues with the tracks, and you can see it's one of the most upvoted posts here, yet the single answer from the developer wasn't even towards my post, but rather something else. I asked him something, yet he doesn't answer, but if there's a problem with someone not being able to purchase the game, it gets instant response from a dev.
And it's annoying because they did a great job with all the 4 changed/new tracks, but they refuse to fix the existing circuits, like Monza kerbs, Mexico, Spa and all the other ones.
Also, thanks @Cpt_Balloonhands for having my back, I have no idea why CM gets defended like they are a small indie company.
- DukeOfAntwerp4 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@Tibi2199 I have problems with the English language? Really? Read again because it is you who has a problem with reading. Like I said before. You start complaining about something you reported a month ago and then refer to the same problem on a other track which has been reported long before you reported COTA still expecting your month old reporting will be handled even before the Hungaroring.
