I have also had this bug, after a pitstop during a 100% race. Rejoined the race with 70c tyres and I was a sitting duck!

Hi Gusticles,
after the Pit Stop it is normal that your tyres have 70°C. It's exactly the same for real F1 drivers as there is a rule since this year that 70°C is the maximum temparature the tyres are allowed to be heated up with the heating blankets.
WIth hard tyres it's the worst, that's why most esport drivers start with harder tyres and pit for softer ones. - 4 years ago@gusticlescauk That's not a bug, mate. In 2022 tyre blanket maximum temperature has been lowered to 70°.
It is a bug to have 70° tyres at the start of the race when having formation lap disabled though, as the game should probably simulate the formation lap took place "behind the scenes".
Either a bug, or an awful design choice. Wouldn't be surprised with either tbh.- Nellix824 years agoRising Ace
Choosing not to go around is a personal choice. The rest is fine because it's actually like that. when we have to complain or suggest do do it for general things not personal.

I think you didn't read what the other guy or you're choosing to ignore it. If you choose not to do a formation lap, the game is designed to simulate one, because in real life you HAVE to do one unless you start from the pits. That it ISN'T doing this properly has nothing at all to do with "player choice" and everything to do with the fact that it is bugged and broken.
