Unplayable Complaints
I see so many irrelevant posts in the midst of all the issues and it makes it look like it's just people moaning which is devaluing the valid complaints. A lot of people use the word careless "UNPL...
The one that gets me the most is players completely unwilling to drop the difficulty and instead blame a "broken" game, despite it being repeatedly stated the AI is much faster this year. Probably the easiest fix out of everything right now, but people are too proud to drop the number.
Player 1: The game's broken
Player 2: Why?
Player 1: AI are too fast
Player 2: Drop the difficulty then
Player 1: What? No!
Player 2: Why?
Player 1: Because my mate is on 103
Player 2: So?
Player 1: It'll make me feel inadequate
Player 2: Wtf?
The problem with dropping difficulty is that it ruins the racing since the AI is very slow in corners then and only makes up time on the straights.
You pull away in every corner, they get back at you at the straights because of their advantage.
This is not balanced.
The MyTeam car is proper crap in terms of aerodynamics/drag but as of now my myteam Car is for example top of the notch when it comes to engine power/aero (drag reduction) (because i specifically devloped these areas in Season 1). Yet i can not compete with the AI on straights on "my" difficulty (meaning i am as fast in corners or slightly faster depending on setup). If i lower the difficulty to be as fast as the AI over 1 lap on some tracks there is literally no racing. They can not overtake me because they stand no chance in the corners and i can not overtake them because i stand no chance on the straight. And in qualy i am usually unchallenged P1 with lower difficulty.
Theres a huge balance issue in my opinion. The good thing is, on PC, you can at least run mods that fix this issue. Thats what i am doing when i come home. Worked in 1.05, created awesome racing on an even playing field matching the RD Performance.
