@DukeAgain98 I did a post a few pages back on how 'technically' it's very possible, the absolute easiest solution requires literally 0 resource time as it's a quick database change.
I too would love to know what makes it "not possible". The only logical reason I can even begin to imagine is that no development time is able to be allocated to a now "legacy" title, red tape basically. In a nutshell, like I said before...working on F12022 is not inline with internal roadmaps which is the farming of oblivious consumers primarily with the use of microtransactions.
EA are about quantity and not quality, it's not their fault...its what their data from their quarterly earnings reports tell them to do.
As for Codemasters, well they are banking on profiting from the rise of the "sim rig" fad and esports in racing games. They've also been lumped together with the old Criterion/Ghost studio. Layoffs WILL come, they can call that teams meetings "karma".
In reference to the 50 weeks broken game I've messaged maybe 20 youtubers, I'm in dm's of discord with two of them. As the news isn't really sensational it's hard to approach with any meaning but still working on an angle.
Which leads me to this, I'm not confirming its setup/ran by me personally but I will share a URL to a discord and twitter feed at some point over on the PSN forums. It won't be too soon as it more concerns the launch of F12024 with updates on reviews and outages....basically.
Just keep buying and supporting the good games made by competent and honourable (usually Japanese) developers. While we have melts like Codemasters we do have things like the rise of Larian Studios and FromSotware. Nothing Ea/Codemasters has ever produced even touches Elden Ring, Baldurs Gate 3 etc.
