I really like the newspaper layout, but some of the text is missing from the right side of it.

Thanks
Trying to put a little effort into presentation, found some newspaper templates on Canva that were not premium and free to use so hopefully it works going forward

Looking good, and I got myself a good laugh over the reallygreatsite.com website. Brilliant. Good to build an undefeated streak there, avoiding defeat is a good start, then a higher number of wins can always follow later on.

Update
- JustinCase01102 years agoSeasoned VeteranI didn't know that Poveda played for Blackburn, but it does sound like a legit reason - or excuse - to sign a Leeds player. Good find.
On another note, I know I started writing that you needed to write text to be allowed to post images. But lately I've discovered that a simple space is enough for the "Submit' button to appear. - 2 years ago

Poveda went on loan 2021-22 season to Blackburn but was cut short due to serious injury, was at Blackpool last season and was expected to leave Leeds, but Farke seemed to use him and he was fairly impressive during pre season plus when appeared so far shame same couldn't be said for Cody Drameh. Anyways I took a quick peak at Leeds squad when playing them to see who I could realistically go for and remembered the Poveda connection so have added him to the shortlist amount a few others 😜

Great read regarding the refereeing decisions vs Norwich. Awful to see such decisions go against. I think you mixed up the two games in the article though, writing that a Hull City player won the penalty there. But Hull was the following game, wasn't it? Or did I mix something up?
Good to see a regular goal scorer there, Sam Gallagher. Something I miss myself, in my save.

You are correct dunno how managed that probably had both matches on my mind and they rolled into one.
Gallagher had a slow start for me, was always in with the assists to begin with but Szmodics was my main scorer, but Gallagher has remembered he's a number 9.and doing what they do best
- 2 years ago@thurlow885 Sammie Szmodics, now there's a name.
He was an academy graduate at my local club and I've since been interested in seeing him when he pops up on Sky in a match or two.
I remember we used to call him (and indeed he even called himself this once) 'glass ankles' because he got a lot of ankle injuries...it's good to see him doing so well, even in real life. - 2 years ago@CO88LER5 He was also at my local side briefly Bristol City. Didn't seem to work out for him there, but appears to have had a good start at Blackburn especially this season irl. He's so been great to use, didn't see him in my plans initially but could well be for a little while at least

Preston in the play-off semis. Quite the local derby and, of course, the original Invincibles, first winners of the football league, and the first double winners. - JustinCase01102 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@thurlow885 (response to Szmodics surprising you) Always great to be completely surprised, letting in game form alter the original plans for ones save. I have this 23 year old striker, Matteo Stoppa, who was away on loan last season. Hardly any real potential, so just kept him as a 4th choice striker, but now he's actually doing quite well, fully matching the numbers of the high profile signing, El Bilal Touré, despite playing significantly less. Just gonna go with that and see where it ends.

@CO88LER5 beat me to it, but Blackburn vs Preston, that's just peak early English football royalty there. What a draw for nostalgic football fans.
Great final run to make it to the playoffs, making yourself a target for revenge from the Saints. Let's see if end up regretting that, if they beat you in the final. A lot of "What if's" could suddenly occur. Would Leicester have been an easier opponent then? Hard to tell. And in the end you still need to get past Preston anyway...

So close, to get to the playoff final and then lose.
At least this gives you the chance to build further and maybe get promotion next season as an even stronger side. - 2 years ago@CO88LER5 Whilst it's disappointed to lose in playoff final I'm still kinda on track with a few curve balls. I didn't expect to get promoted this season especially after the start as I matched the irl first 10 results.
For potential enjoyment it's good not to have got promoted, gives me a chance to work on some youth players and more game time for majority of squad with extra fixtures etc. Hopefully new season brings more joy - 2 years ago
