I cant renew my player contract in EAFC24 player career mode

I've had a wonderful season in man city, won a treble, did al the objectives even the optional one just to find out im forced to leave the club this issue has been in the game for 4 months and ruins my experience. I've noticed that I'm not the only one with this problem so ea pls fix this it makes pcm almost non playable no more.
