My game weeks are a tad muddled up cross between being tired and not concentrating, last one is correct at least ๐คฃ
A good cup form and a top half position in the league table. Don't think there's much to complain about there.
Good to see Georginio Rutter performing well, leading the league in most assists. You are using him a bit differently than I did, but that's also the charm of this game, I think. You can sign the same player at different times and play him for different clubs, and it won't always turn out the same way. So signing the same player 5 times could turn out to become 5 different experiences still (even though I do prefer not to recycle players too much).
For me it seems to be a nostalgic competition between your three players fighting for the number 10 spot; Greenwood, Gelhardt and Rutter. All players I've enjoyed in recent careers.

I know what you mean, often I've signed the same player sometimes because I know they can do what I need doing but have also used some in many different ways. I'm rotating quite a lot in regards to Rutter, Gnonto, Summerville, Gelhardt and Greenwood while also trying to improve Gray and Perkins. The only player to come out with any complaints so far is ASM who is my lowest priority, but is still a good asset, but if I had to lose one it's there.
I keep changing formations too to also accommodate my large midfield with game time with added advantages I can play Gnonto, Gelhardt or Rutter as a ST to fully rotate and keep up game time. So far it's working hopefully it continues. Plus as I've move mid season I have no other objectives to worry about just domestic which I've managed both so pressure is off

How often do you buy a player and switch their position, e.g. make a CAM an ST?
I find myself doing it a lot. - JustinCase01102 years agoSeasoned Ace
What a great run of form, bar that Chelsea defeat. Leeds may have taken a gamble appointing you, but I don't expect them to have any regrets at this point. Wembley here you come.
Fun goal vs Spurs, scoring from your own half. I've rarely managed to take advantage of the opposition goalie coming up like that. And I probably wouldn't have trusted my precision to shoot from there anyway, if I had been in that position. Well done.

I find myself doing it a lot.It varies and depends on time it takes to change, sometimes I like to have players have alternative positions which I think will suit them, I won't do it for the sake of it tho

I was surprised it went in, I've pulled it off a couple times when playing ultimate team, but your often playing against idiots who set things up like having their goalkeeper take corners so don't mind punishing them, but more often than not it doesn't quite make it or goes miles off target

FA Cup triumph, well, that is certainly a succesful season. Well done. Also quite deserved, when you look at the stats from Wembley.
How do you find Adem Zorgane? He was a beast to play against in my Rangers career (he played for Celtic in that career), so I've put him on my "gotta sign him at some point" list.

I'm actually really liking him. When I saw him there I was, who? But gave him ago as alongside Kenneth Taylor he was best CM in squad. Both wonderful players to see when taking over a side. Anyways I dunno what his potential is, but he's currently 82 or 83 in mine, but plays better than most 85s I've used. passing and ball winning is great. Think he's CM/CDM but can rely on him attacking too. This might change now I've just signed a new Alex Scott a player I've wanted for a while, but with extra European Games could still have plenty of game time, but would recommend him

I don't think his potential is higher than 80, to be honest. So it looks like he could be one of those who push above his numbers. Interesting. I was considering him before, but now your stellar report might actually push him further up my list ๐

Ambitious window! Selling players for 75 million. As I recall, ASM wasn't getting a lot of starts, so selling him for that fee must have been a no-brainer. Prioe is different, since he was one of your top guys last season, but I think it's the right call, when Juventus come calling.
Replacements cost 120 million, with players signed for both defence, midfield and attack. Leeds are certainly ambitious, Anthony Gordon especially, signing him from Newcastle. Interesting!

I did a very large scouting search 2nd half of season and my shortlist became endless. I was getting priced out of a fair few players and considering what I wanted to buy I knew I was gonna use almost all my budget. Gordon wasn't first choice. I wanted to sign Igor Paixรฃo since starting CM but he's always either been too highly rated or out of price range.
I didn't plan to spend as much as I did but I had settled on targets. There were a few others I'm supposed to sign 3 South Americans and a young player with higher potential than squad. I might have to do some free agent scouting just to complete my objectives, not something I really wanna do, but I have trust issues with the game even tho they are low priority ๐

Altho saying that cash could rise up again, I've had a fair few offers for Kenneth Taylor just not the right ones. Man United offered the most, but I ain't selling to them unless I can get an extra 25mil on top of valuation, because well it's Man United. Other offers haven't been realistic imo but right team right offer then yes. Don't feel the need to have to sell as team is doing well but if a Champions League side came in that's a different story

Interesting to see you sign Mamadou Sarr. In my Rangers career he's been a Leeds player through several seasons, being among my top targets for a new centerback. I ended up signing Omobamidele recently, but it was between him and Sarr, and I suppose I just went with the former because it was a better deal financially.
The Zorgane transfer is interesting. You had just fended United off for their approach for Taylor, and then they just took Zorgane in stead. Brilliant. I'm still considering a swoop for him in my Man United save, and perhaps the potential move isn't so unlikely after all, now that the AI has made that transfer in your save. Interesting.

Oh, didn't notice it at first, but I'm really looking forward to your games against Midtjylland in Europe. Always love to see Danish clubs in other saves. Good luck against them.

I wasn't letting Taylor go unless it was a ridiculous fee, United offered excess of 40 mil and I just sent back 75 mil and they soon left him alone. Zorgane who has been great I obviously didn't value as high, but I still got an extra 6/7 million on top of what Man United initially offered.
I also looking to have Taylor and Scott as my main partnership in midfield so I was at the stage of if someone made an offer then I'd let Zorgane go.
Sarr was a last minute deal and cost me a little more than expected, but I have plenty of funds left over, but still have to make 3 new signings this season (will likely do in January after scouting every under 19 Brazilian in the game ๐ I stated the objective wrong last time. I need 3 South American Players signed and 2 under 20 with a higher potential than average squad so hopefully get that completed in same Search

What a rollercoaster ride scrolling down through your post just now. Draw at Chelsea, decent result. Comfortable win vs Boro, great job.
Then conceding 3 in 9 minutes at home vs Midtjylland, being stunned so hard that you lost the next two, at both Sheffield Utd and Brighton. Wow. Not what I expected from your return to European football. The shock from the Danish wolves must be over now, so you can start putting some results together again.

I didn't really have time to do more in depth write up and also wanted to be able get on with game when I was next able too, but in reality those 3 games the issue has been fatigue. I do have a slightly smaller squad this season altho all players have a chance to play unlike last season I was never gonna use a couple of them, but with a the early season fixtures plus Europe and League Cup piling up I guess my squad didn't quite have the fitness for it and some of the rotation didn't work out so well
