The Internet in England has been improved a lot over the last decade.
Not really sure what exactly you are getting at. It's not all about speed (which there is plenty of gigabit connections) but about latency. I can tell you now that plenty of people in England will have >10ms latency to servers in UK. And beyond that in near by Europe will not be hugely higher.
The fact I play people in France, Spain, Italy and Germany and often have games with 12-30ms play. People in the UK and Ireland with less then 10ms latency. Sometimes as low as 4-6ms.
So definitely not totally true. It is also not EAs fault if someone is in a household with the connection being rinsed with people streaming Netflix,YouTube etc...
France and Germany have better Internet please do your research before you post. thanks
If you run the game on with the input overlay you will probably notice your controllers are almost in sync meaning you have very little server delay. If you do have delay it’s normally an isp issue. So run the connection test on here.
- @RadioShaqs I ran the test on here and said I have 100% one of the best isp...that never translates to the actual game where my players are slow, sluggish, poor passing standards etc.
What does it look like when you play the game with the input overlay on? If your controllers are in sync then you don’t have delay. If you do have delay ea has a thread looking for video examples you can post one in there.

I understand very well how speed, latency, server distance etc... affect connections.
Define better Internet for gaming..? Someone could have a 1gb Cable connection yet someone else has a 76mb DSL connection. The cable connection has a standard 30ms ping time vs the 76mb DSL which has an 8ms latency. I know which would fair better in a game. Obviously hops to the server would matter but the latency would still be typically less on the DSL.
It isn't all about speed. The UK has plenty of fibre options now. You don't need a 10gb connection to game.
Plenty of UK gamers understand connections and what the right conditions are to game on.
So where else you want to go with this subject?
I don’t think the connection has much to do with issues on this game. This isn’t the age of dial up we are in an advanced world with AI technology etc. this is all about coding and breaking you if you are any good. What the best are good at is managing this. Top end minds that are excellent with maths and perfectionism serve this the best as they are obsessed with the minute detail.
