Hey @MikeBru2102 this is likely system or input-related.


Testing on my system and seeing no issue like you are.


What USB devices do you have connected?

    @EA_Darko This is exactly the answer I expected, considering there have been other posts with people having the same issue. I don't have any USB devices plugged into my system. Even if I did, I don't just play FC24, I play other games as well, and nothing like this happens on other games.

    Generally if an issue with the game @MikeBru2102 then everyone or else a lot of people would be seeing the issue and we would be able to recreate it.


    As we are not then it is likely system related and just because others work without issue does not rule out the system.


    We are happy to help you troubleshoot this but it's something that you'll need to work on on your end.

    @EA_Darko There are a lot of people experiencing the same issue, just type the word menu in the search bar at the top. Like I have said, this only happens with THIS GAME. So it isn't a system issue. It's not happening at the moment as I am playing it, it doesn't happen all the time, it does happen a lot though.

    That it only happens now and again @MikeBru2102 is further evidence that this is not game related and rather system.

    You need to take a look at your system and see what is happening, is there as conflict, do you have multiple input methods in at once, is there a controller and keyboard or other connected.

    I have a wireless keyboard and mouse, I have a wireless & bluetooth network card that I use for my wireless xbox controller. It only happens with this game. RDR2, no menu issues, MWIII, no menu issues, Jedi Survivor, no menu issues, , GTA V, no menu issues, FC24, menu issues (Spot the odd one out)

    If you have keyboard and controller connected at the same time can you remove one to test @MikeBru2102.

    Are you suing the official Xbox dongle for Bluetooth or another?

    Does the issue occur if you use your controller wired?


    This is all stuff that you will need to test.

    See this is the problem, the game should be plug and play, you buy it, you install it, you play it, might have to adjust the game settings on it, but that's about it. Same thing happened when I complained about the dark shadows in certain stadiums, you told me to adjust my monitor settings when they are fine in every other match. If I changed the monitor settings for the stadiums with dark shadows, I would have to change them back for the other matches. I shouldn't need to unplug things to get the game working as it should. So if unplugging the keyboard works, every time I play THIS GAME do I have to unplug my keyboard, then plug it back in if I want to type stuff?

    I don't use any dongle for the Xbox controller I have a bluetooth/wireless network card installed in my system and I link bluetooth devices through that. 

    I don't know if it happens when my controller is wired because the whole point in buying a wireless controller is so that I don't need to attach it to my system with a wire

    How many times do I have to keep saying  this only happens with THIS GAME? I can't explain that any clearer, I've even typed it in big.

    I understand the frustration @MikeBru2102 but if this were game related then everyone would be seeing it or at least a huge number of players.


    If you are using an Xbox controller but not using the official dongle then you can run into issues like this and it is not something we can assist with. 

    The game is plug and play, I use my PS5 and Xbox controllers with it without issue but I keep them up to date and use the official support adaptors for them as Bluetooth devices often have issues. I have a certain lag when using my soundbox and PC over Bluetooth that does not exist when I have it wired.

    That you have multiple Bluetooth devices connected can also cause issues. The more you have connected the more likely you will see things like this pop up.

    You can blame the game all you want but it won't fix the issue. Our team can't push a fix for an issue that is on your system side.  And as you said yourself, you don't have it all the time so that is further evidence that this is not a game issue but system related.

    How many times??? I don't experience any other issues with any other game, just THIS GAME. If it was a system issue I would experience these issues on other games and that would make me think that it is a system issue. Because it only happens on THIS GAME then I don't believe it's a system issue at all. Other people have complained about this in other forum posts.

    The only thing I have connected via bluetooth is my controller, so I don't have multiple bluetooth devices connected, I just have one.

    As I said @MikeBru2102, just because it is not in other games does not mean anything.

    I am only trying to help but at it feels like we are going around in circles and you are unwilling to troubleshoot this on your end.


    We can only help you help yourself when issues like this pop-up.

    don't bother argue with them, it always our hardware, our connection is the issue and problem that need to check or upgrade.. regarding the control issue, i also have the issue around 2 day ago.. i need to concede 2 game due to controller malfunction when playing but outside the game, the controller have no problems at all..

    @Anonymous I don’t think that’s fair there are plenty of times ea has said the server or game has had a problem. It’s not always eas fault though especially when only a few have an issue.
