@GSM350 , my friend you don't know that Squad Battles are also online mode, haha. I have an impression, that these squad battle games are increased because of this 'grinding', which is required to evolve players (Evolutions mostly refer to Squad Battles) and this overloads servers. We all suffer I guess
@BanDit78yes I know it is technically online but there is no connection or ping associated with squad battles as there is with rivals and champs if you haven't noticed.
There is a significant difference between squad battles and rivals or champs.
The game dynamics in rivals and champs are ridiculous.
I can play 10 games where it seems like my players are sprinting at half speed, shots on goal miss, keeper can't save a thing, opponents keeper acts like Superman and saves everything, my defenders literally run away from the opponent who has the ball and the opponents players look like they are sprinting at 300%.
Then I will play a game that is exactly opposite and my opponent has the above problems!
@Izzy_FUT_DubsIn 9 out of 10 games I always seem to be at a speed disadvantage no matter what my players sprint states are or chem or play styles are.
I already play with a 72 depth and using team press or constant pressure just has my players never in the right position.
@BanDit78 Technically Squad Battles is an online game mode and requires a connection to the EA servers but I believe the gameplay or match is localized to the console or PC and only the results and stats are sent to the EA servers, that's why there is no ping or connection status displayed when playing Squad Battles.
I think that's the way it works, well that's the way I would design it otherwise you are overloading your servers with a game mode that can be localized.
Can anyone from EA tell me if that's right?
Rivals and champs gameplay consistency is terrible.
I suffer from the same thing while playing against players who move faster, turn faster, tackle faster etc.
Im amazed I manage to win games despite such a handicap. It makes me wonder how much better I could be if I wasn’t playing against EA Servers AND my opponent.
The absolute worst FIFA game I’ve ever played and I’m absolutely shocked 3 months in this game isn’t playing right. If I didn’t do my job for 3 months I wouldn’t have a job.
You do realise that squad battles maybe played online , but it's against the cpu (AI) which majority of the time is easy to play against and beat, depending on what level your playing them on e.g. world class, legendary .The Differnce is you have controll of what difficulty you play them on in squad battles. In rivals you don't have the ability to choose your difficulty against real online opponents in rivals/ champs.
Im no pro , im just a casual player that likes to play to have fun and is competitive, but this is not fun and competitive anymore, it's just toxic. I mean i used to be able to fly past division 7 and on previous fut in rivals , but now I'm stuck there and can't get out of division 8 at the minute , no matter what I do to win , its now become very draining , toxic and frustrating when playing (I just tell myself to stay calm and take deep breathes when playing instead of steeping so low to rage like some or probably majority of players).
however EA will a lot of the time make your players give away a ridiculous penalty to the he cpu (ai) or even your online opponent in rivals/ fut champs even when its nota penalty or a foul, also make the cpu score at least a goal from out of nowhere or somehow stop you from scoring and they go onto win in injury time / extra time by at least one more goal.
Anyway i could be wrong here , but i believe that's all scripted into the game to make you rage and spend more money on fifa points because you , myself or anyone else is frustrated with the game similar to when you play against someone in rivals/ fut champions now.
My point is its easier to score and beat the cpu (ai) than playing someone else online in rivals/ fut champs. I used to love playing squad battles and rivals, but now I can't stand playing rivals with how the players perform now , but I still do because thar is the only competitive game mode in can just about still play as draining , frustrating and annoying as it can be .
As for fut champions don't get me started on that. I could get atleast 11 wins in previous fut champs, but in fc24 I can't even qualify anymore for the champs finals and again its so boring, draining and stupid that we even have to qualify against online players when we have enough qualification points from rivals to play in fut champs 🙄.
Anyway my point I'm trying to make is it's easier to play against and beat the AI (Cpu) in squad battles rarher than playing against someone in rivals/ fut champs online.
This is definitely my last football game I'm buying from EA because I'm not getting stressed and frustrated because of their stupid rivals, squad battles, fut champs objectives and sbc's e.t.c. its not worth the hassle and time imo and Is a waste of (hard earned) money as its the same stressful, toxic garbage every year. EA you can consider yourself another customer lost with this atrocious, pathetic attempt you call a football game. I suggest you learn the rules of football before trying to make a (good) football game 🙄.
