My game keeps freezing (like 1-2 times each game), it freezes for 5 seconds and then speeds up. Really annoying cuz often goals happen in that time and u cant do anything abt it.

EA, Is there any way we might actually have some people working on fixing the lag issues thousands of people seem to be experiencing globally ? Online Ultimate Team is unplayable at the moment for many - myself included. It's frustrating and infuriating to have a perfect internet connection, to start a game with 15-20 ms of pin, and to have the game freeze/unfreeze about 30 times per game. With the 150 M+ EA make every year from this game alone, one might think updating the servers and/or optimizing online play could be seen as a priority, right ?

I had this problem and i think i managed to solve it.1.Make sure windows and Graphic drivers are up to date.2. Make sure you have enough space on your drive where FC 24 is installed.3. Windows 10/11 in game mode set FC 24 to high performance (see screenshot) 4. In my case the problem was firewall.-try disabling antivirus you should see pop up coming to screen to allow FC 24 thru firewall.-If you don't see pop go to firewall and make sure everything related to EA and FC 24 is enabled and allowed to go thru firewall. So there is literally nothing we can do. I just bought fc24 with hope that it won't be happening like in Fifa 23 but after playing 1 hour it happened. Right now I'm refunding this game because I don't want to waste more time on it. When I was still playing Fifa 23 nothing really helped. Lowering graphic settings, reinstalling the game, deleting temp files, back then I wiped my disk so I can clean installation of Windows and everything else but even this didn' help. It's EAs fault and they are the only one that can fix it. Multi-million company making the best sports game and they can't fix a bug that is happening for years in their best selling game. Congrats.

it has been happening for the past 3-4 years on the pc versions of fifa and is so frustrating to deal with.
in previous games there have been file transfer workarounds which have worked but A: that should not be something we have to rely on, and B: I haven’t seen any found yet this game cycle :/

I have this aswell such a shame as I was looking forward to the game and was working fine until the update yesterday. Had the issue fifa 23

I also have this problem even after going into my NVIDIA control panel and optimising the game there I thought I had fixed it but it happens still. I have attached DxDIag for an EA help member to look at and i also have clips of the freezing mid game, it even happens on single player game modes.

I'm having this problem but it only seems to happen when I'm playing online, not sure if it's a cross play issue or what but it means I basically cant play online. Found any fixes yet?

It might be connected with the graphics settings.
A lot of players has this issue because of eas poor optimization of the game.
For now, a fix can be to play on low graphic settings.
Try:
Strand based hair - OFF
Quality - Medium/Low
Grass - Low
Crowd - Low
It doesnt look good, but at least it runs smoothly.
I have a fairly good pc, with a high end cpu and i RTX 3070, and it should be possible to play a game on high settings these days..

@M1ke1887I have it too, i asked for refund on steam but i have 13 hours in it, mostly squad battles and menu grind. If i cant get my money back im disappointed

@worldofcross I have an RTX 3060 and an i5-11400F and 16 gb ram. The game still does this. My network is not the best but i dont had any problems with the fifa 23 on ps4.

Hi there, I have found a solution to this all you have to do is make sure you have 100gb free space so if you have downloaded it on and SSD then make sure it has 100gb free space same goes if you have downloaded it on a HDD.
