I have the same issue during online games (rivals, online draft), offline works excellent. Input delay is like 1-2sec, my players have problems to control the ball and position, they do what i click on controller but after those 1-2 seconds. I cannot compete with other players and I lost draft that i paied 300 ea points because of delay. Will i be refunded? FIFA 23 worked fine. My connection is stable (400Mb/s on cable).
Same issue.. i just spent my money and i cant play online .. i had the same issue for Fifa 22 (Fifa 23 its still ok)
Offline mode works so good but when i play Online mode there is a 2-3 seconds delay and i lose every ball (and games).
My connections is so good (2.5 Gigabit) and 2 MS.
In other games no issues, only EAFC24 ONLINE.
Please solve this ASAP !!!!!
Exactly the Same for me. It already was in Fifa 23, I was able to Play perfectly fine for the First 3-4 Werks, but since then, the Game Is unplayable.
My MS Is constantly between 14-20 ingame. Still I have like almost 1sec Input Delay, which Pretty much makes this game unplayable on competetive level. I reached Elite rank in fifa 22 4 times in a row before I stopped playing.. But in Fifa 23 and now the same in Ea Fc 24, I am struggling to climb ranks because my opponents are Not effected by Input Delay, only I am.
this Is so so so sad. And of course my connection Is perfectly Fine for every other game on the planet- it Is only Fifa / EA Fc which causes trouble..
but sure thing, same procedure as every year.. „please Check your Router Settings blablabla“..
Brother i was also having the same issue. The fix is to set the FPS at no limit(Not 120 ghz) you can get it at diplay configuration on the game menu. And if still dont work then Lower the screen size and graphics to low. This is the only way a am able to play EA FC 24 online modes.
Having the worst weekend league of my life. Constant input delay, I cannot do a thing. I have raised a formal complaint with EA and they have contacted me via email today and I have a open case with them regarding this.
We're all suffering as a community and it's absolutely awful, this isn't our connections. This is the EA servers, this has happened at the start of many FIFA's and randomly fixes itself during patches. It feels as though people with high end connections are punished.
It's impossible to play, every game is a struggle unless you match against someone with input delay which is noticeable. Everyone here should be entitled to a proper answer with what's happening as we've all purchased a product/service which isn't fix for purpose.
Please EA help us resolve this issue.
Just like everyone else. Huge imput delay. I struggle to win a game so hard. And the sad thing is that I am a good played with a nice time (for first year have had a good pack luck) and I can clearly see I play against so many people I'd easily win, and instead my mbappe can't even turn, can't do anything. Every average card looks much better than my mbappe. Another thing I noticed is that the AI also gets affected and all my players stay stationary, there is no AI runs, almost nothing. Some days at late night uk time I can play one ore another game more or less ok but yesterday night, I started champs and I was 5-0 and went to 5-7 because you simply can't play. It's the most frustrating thing and a game is not meant to cause such stress!!! Out of words!!!!
I thought I was the only one experiencing such low speeds. I just quit an Online Tournament because I just couldn't play. This needs to be fixed.
Almost a month since the game came out and I still can't play online without delay, surely we can do something against EA right?

bro i just cant play even one good match without any delay. the gameplay is so slow especially in champions. even salah cant turn quickly with the ball. it is just unplayable.
Hi! It seems I found the issue for my delays.
Seems super wierd, but when the IPTV Box is turned on, it causes the lag for the Ea Fc 24. (All other online games works perfectly and connection score is perfect as well). Telekom suggested to make a new subnet, so I set up a second router behind the Telekom ONT, and it seems good now, mostly even when IPTV box is turned on. Only PS5 is connected to my second router, all other devices to ONT). Everything is wired, ports opened, DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Hello, my ping is to high and i got a terrible delay on my gameplay, also my menus are terribble slow, iam play on a ps5, wired fibre connection ( 1000/1000 ) iam living in Sweden/Gothenburg.
Its the same huge delay in all gamemodes like Rivals/Champions/Squad Battles Etc etc, also maybe worth to say its been like this since I got it, i ried everything but cant play my game anyway.
