have been playing FC24 on computer for a year -- purchased and installed through Steam; now receiving this message: link2ea://launchgame/2195250?platform=steam&theme=fc24 Application not found ...

Is the EA app running in the background while you're trying to launch the game from Steam?
just oened and signed into EA account , tried tp start program in steam - same result

Can you please check the Connected Accounts tab in your EA Account settings and verify if your Steam and EA accounts are connected?
