PS5 and XB1 cannot play together. There is cross platform play but not cross-gen play.

In EA SPORTS FC™ 24, cross-play is expanding into all multiplayer online modes. Players will now be able to team up with their cross-platform friends as well as play against mixed cross-platform teams across all modes where crossplay is available.

 

This will continue to be based on the players platform generation with:

 

  • PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions being able to play cross-platform
  • PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions being able to play cross-platform
  • Switch will be excluded from any cross-platform play.

    My bad, let me rephrase, I am on a Xbox one series S and it isn't working.

    Hey, I have a problem on the game EAFC 24. I'm on Xbox One SERIES S, so next gen console and my friend is on PS5 and we can't play together even though we both have crossplay activated. It tells us that the crossplay isn't activated, do you have a solution for this ? Thanks in advance

    This information is false. PC to Xbox X|S cannot play crossplay. I spoke to EA support and they told me its a "bug".

    For most of us, we bought this 70 dollar game solely for this advertisement.

    Hello,

    I was wondering if in the future you plan to make fc 24 cross-gen, because it’s pretty dumb that since I have a PC I can’t play with my friends
