UNABLE TO SAVE PERSONAL SETTINGS 1

THIS IS ON PC.

I can not get passed the personal settings screen. It pops up with a message saying “unable to save personal settings 1”

Even when I click ”continue without” saving it still does not continue.

I have tried a lot of different solutions but nothing has worked.

Any help is appreciated 🙂

I forgot I had EA Play so I had a 10 hour trial of EAFC 24. I installed it and i can't get past this screen. I tried whitelisting it but it didn't help.

Hey @ashwinsarma1998 where you saving them to, is it to your system or could it be to the One Drive?

Hey @EA_Darko I am saving it to my system. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as well but that did not help.

Are you running the game as administrator and does your save folder have both read and write permissions @ashwinsarma1998?

I am running it as administrator and I do have my folder as read and write permission but when I right click the save folder under security, the read  only box is ticked. I have all my permission set but even when I change it, it does not remove the tick from the box. @EA_Darko 

It is from the security settings in windows.  You would have to disable protected folder in there

This did not work either. I am not sure what to do now, nothing seems to work ☹️ @EA_Darko @westreal42 

Can you try on a new Windows account @ashwinsarma1998 to see if you have the same issue?

Thank you that has finally fixed the problem. I created a new account on windows and it’s fixed now.
