i have contacted customer support 6 times and followed instructions, they said they would get a technician to fix it, and it would take a couple hours, its been 3 days. i have re-downloaded the game 4 times and still no luck. Support chats also have crashed and don't allow me to chat or even send a new appeal, absolutely horrendous, worse than Chelsea.

Its happening to me too , im playing UT , and the game keeps doing little crashs during the game.
It cant be my ps5 , because its new .
Same thing over here - but after this happened on and off with FIFA 23 on PS5 for me i was at least smart enough not to buy the ultimate edition. You're right though - customer service is not anywhere near where it should be - they just close out the tickets without even responding to me.
I've tried clearing cache, rebuilding database, and resetting my ps5 all to no avail.
Nice little bonus for the hour download time every time i try the above process hoping that this time the result will be different.
From the research I've been forced to do on my own (because EA is literally NO HELP) has me thinking this it's beyond software and unfixable short of sending my console in to be "repaired" (even though there's seemingly nothing wrong with it) for the low low price of $250.
Would love someone to prove me wrong - i just miss the days where you popped a game in your console and it worked...

Both my brother and I hsve the same problem! First we thought it’s my brother’s device. But mine is new and it’s cannot be the ps5. And it’s been happening only for fifa 24 and all the other games work well. It’s so annoying. I hope they can fix it soon.
I have had this same problem for four days now on my PS5. I open my FC it runs for 30 seconds to 2 minutes and then freezes and crashes. Always saying error code CE-108255-1.
It’s really devastating since I can’t play the game that I have spent my money and time to.
I have done everything; restarted the game and the console several times, rebuilt database on safe mode, deleted EA FC couple of times and even reset my whole PS5 etc!
Is there going to be some update or something this is unbelievable that everything else works butEA FC doesn’t and you do nothing to it?
To add to this, what about your fc24 companion app on the iPhone, its absolutely unusable... Every single time you click on any menu it just freezes, have to keep restarting it completely, then does it again. Been like it for weeks yet you do nothing about it? Why are you people so lazy there lol?
