Evolution Glitch (player automatically selected?)

I recently started playing the early access version of Ultimate team, and have been doing my research on evolutions specifically before trying the feature for myself, after I had done so.
I had went onto the evolution tab and to my surprise a player had already been submitted as an evolution player, prior to me doing it. I looked up online if this was just how it works and I found out that what is supposed to happen is that you pick a player of your choice from an eligible selection. 
But I was never shown an option to select a player, if I could receive help and have this player taken away and the option reverted so that i can select my own player.
That would be greatly appreciated.
