For the past several weeks it has been practically impossible to win an online match, not even close. I'm getting smashed three goals in the first 30 minutes and I can't even reach the opponent's penalty area. What has happened? I really don't know. Has everyone become an elite player in this game? I'm in division one and I can't go to lower devisions because the game won't let me. I really want to play this game but since it is forcing me to always play against ultra sweaty opponents I'd rather not bother getting angry and frustrated. Nobody enjoys losing over 90% of thier matches.If someone can explain why this game has become impossible to play and enjoy I would really appreciate it.

I see alot of talk about more skilled players and that why you are losing, well first of all we are all placed on diffrent kind of servers and Ea servers are pure crap that is well knowed, thats why every match youre team and players behave diffrent all the time, this game is not a skilled based online game as Ea trying to push it.Lets begin the server are placed in England, Italy, Germany, France, Holland and Usa i can forgot about some country, it meens that if you not from any of these countrys you playing at their servers for an example you living in Bulgaria and meeting an German player, that meens youre game needs to get the nearest access and that is Germany in this case, the German player is at a ping around 10 meanwhile yours is pending between 20 - 50 ping ofcourse you gonna think that mostly of the player is better than you.If servers dont work youre game dont work and youre gameplay suffers and this game is almost unplayeble, you can notice this very easy how youre menus is superslow and the matchmaking is superslow, i dont understand why people mention skills and EaFc in the same mention but i guess it is what it is, iam working with programming for 20 y and everybody knows that Ea dont really care about their servers and that they are pure crap to be honest.Play other online games and then compare that with a Ea game the diffrents is massive, anyway i could breake this down even more but Ea dont like truth they would just ban me as they usually do when someone speaks truth, anyway good luck with youre Ea games....

@RadioShaqsI would be totally okay with them going back to the old way even if the rewards are not as good. For two reasons:1- I can always play in a division against equally skilled players all the time.2- The rewards I have been getting in division one are fodder trash anyway. I never got any decent card that would go into my squad from reward packs. getting worse packs is not something that would disappoint me at all.

My main problem is inconsistent gameplay....Delay between pushing a button and player performing the action is anything from immediately to a couple of seconds late.One example:I am on counterattack I push shootNothing happens for a second or soNow the position of the player is no longer good to shoot, and I figured the game didn't register the commandI push ground pass to pass it to the player in better position to shootInstead of passing, my player performs fake shotI am "ecstatic" and questioning my decision of playing this game when getting a root canal surgery would be equally enjoyable Few years ago, while playing on Xbox, I created a list of friends (40+) of people that played the game without abusing broken game mechanics, and just played friendlies against them. It is completely different game that way. I enjoyed it very much.These days...... you may wish for skill players, because the alternative is "headless chicken" players with constant pressure, depth 100 that holds R1 and X buttons and spams O button... who gets favored by the game and god help your controller that is about to get smashed on the floor.There are games where 95+ rated players are playing on the same level as Bronze players. I am sure about that as I did play with Bronze players and they even performed better than 95+ players, go figure?!

@Boy_Systematics I concur with everything stated here.

It’s not the gameplay is too difficult it’s the players don’t do what you ask, one defender always running back playing people onside for no reason, try to move your player and the games trying to force them somewhere else, player switch is broken even more so this year than last, goalkeepers standing off their line watching balls just go past them into the net, tackling means nothing since the ball just always goes back to your opponent, I’ve even been flagged offside in my own half, switch a player and the one you switched from follows the one you switched to, goalkeeper has the ball in his hands so what does he do he throws it out for a corner, so much wrong with this game and ea just ignores any mention of it and you get told it must be your connection

Well, this is a problem for people like me who are not elite players. They should permit division drops. The game is totally not worth playing if you are going to lose every single match. I honestly would like to play this game but only if I'm playing against equally skilled players. This is a serious issue that has to be addressed because as things are right now, I am not motivated to play for guarantied losses. The state of this game right now is unbalanced and gives an unfair disadvantage for people like me who are stuck in a division that is way beyond their level at this time.

@wassimabdul They need to make checkpoints longer. That way people can’t go up in division so easy. The only problem with that is you won’t get as good of rewards.

They could always go back to the old way but then it would be even harder as people would drop divisions. Then you would also get worse rewards.

@wassimabdul The problem is you wouldn’t be playing equal opponents because people dropped to play you then move up for rewards. Get the rewards then drop back down to play you again for easy wins.

Well if EA is thinking the same way you are that means they can't find a solution for matching people with the same skill level.
I'll just quit playing ultimate team and go play online seasons where I can play in a division suitable with my skill level.

@wassimabdulLonger checkpoints would fix it. You wouldn’t be able to drop down like the old style and you would get equal opponents.
Just to add when it was first introduced it was even easy to get in to low of a division so they made checkpoints longer. Now it still might not be good enough just make them even longer meaning more wins in a row to move up. Then you would be in a higher division like 3 4 or 5 playing equal opponents.

@wassimabdul Mate, if you went back to the old 'drop a division by relegation and not winning' you'd be playing people who cheated that system back then. Folk who wanted easier rewards. I think was in fifa 20 or 21, Div 4 rewards were apparently better than the top 3 flights, so no, That system sacked.

@wassimabdul No easy wins mate thats just how it is if you go up in divisions. You just have to get better. Take a break and play when your fresh and have good gameplay.
