Players not moving/running in a straight line in Ultimate Team

Whenever I try to play Ultimate Team, my players either stand still and I cant move them, or they run in a straight line (not where I'm directing them) off the pitch. The gameplay is also slow whenever this happens and any pass or cross I try to do goes in a random direction. I know this isn't a connection issue, as the game worked perfectly fine for the first 2 or 3 games. There's also thousands of other people who reported having this exact problem. Even people with really good PCs experience this. I tried every solution I could find and none of them worked, and EA hasn't said anything about this game-breaking bug at all. The exact same thing happened to me in fifa 23, I just ended up uninstalling it because it was unplayable. The game runs perfectly fine without any lag in offline mode. If anyone has any solutions, please help me. EA wants us to spend 70 dollars on a game that doesn't even work.
