Re: Eafc is pretty much unplayeble

This whole game is a complete failure. EA had the chance of proving to their customers that this year they could really make a good and fair game…how wrong was I… EA is pushing packs to kids like a drug dealer to his addicts. I never seen so much promo packs! I really hope this is an indication that players are leaving EA, and EA is trying to get as much money as possible before they give this title up. But, my fellow gamers, I hope you remember this next year, when EA is pushing 25 on us. This company have no interest in giving us a good game, they just want to sell FC points. 

Regarding server issues… To my experience, servers are not the whole issue. Its mechanics in the game thats not working. Either EA has programmed something into the game that makes the gameplay inconsistent, or EA devs hasnt got a clue what their doing. EA has been lying and tricking their customers for years, hopefully people will see through their blatant lies, and stop buying their products. And yes, I have been foolish enough to buy EAFC and other fifa tiltes in the past, so I’m not pointing my finger at anybody. EA will NOT change, unless they start loosing money…and that, is controlled by us, the customers.

@Taschabumay be one of the best breakdown i read, well done, i also think that they gonna give up this game, the whole game is a mess, the matchmaking is awfule, the servers are a pure joke at this point, the mechanic in game aint working.

People is complaining in so many forums and online, i never seen anything like this before to be honest, and Efootball is soon in the competition for real, they have some work left but man it is beginning to be a real threat, Ufl is out soon to, if they pull of a fair play and good gameplay then Ea will be more or less history, all they gonna have is some wannabe famous youtubers who opening packs on the tube and talking about their sh*tty tactics, its over.

Look at other company and how they meet their costumers, and then take a look at Ea, its such a big diffrent and i understand why Ea is bleeding costumers, they never coming back again.

I aint coming back again, never in a life time, iam so tired of their games, their way to see their own costumers.

Yeah well booth of you got youre points, as it seems now it ait seems good, i been playing Ut for so many years and thinks it pretty sad that this company never got any better.

Ofcourse they know about 80 % of their cosumers couldent play this game, i was playing against a danish guy today, and i just quit the game, i got 20 losses without any wins in division 8, he was pretty upset first but i told him how it was and how my game connect to the server and he 100 % understood.

As it seems right now this will be my last year with Ea to, gaming should be fun and relaxing at least for me, i just want to kick back and enjoy a couple of matches, and honestly, there so much better games out there and great companys i actually want support instead, iam from Sweden and i swear i dont know a single person who plays Eafc or Ea games at all longer, iam was the last one in my circle but after Eafc and how i seen Ea treat their own costumers i cant support that its impossible.

I genuinely don’t believe it’s a server or connection issue exclusively. The gameplay mechanics just aren’t balanced properly. 

1) Trivelas/Finesse shots outside the box with no real rhythm to them are ridiculous. Most of us can tell in the beginning of the game if your opponent has Son/Salah/Griezmann that they’re going to spin around outside the box and shoot a prayer of a finesse shot. They will do it over and over again until it goes in.

2) No tackle cooldown/attackers with sub-40 standing tackles making CB like tackles. Playing someone who just spams tackle is more frustrating than it should bc they’ll whiff on a tackle and be on you again before you can take another touch.

3) Any sort of lobbed pass being chased down with players moving as fast as the ball. I’ve lobbed passes over a defender marking me to someone about 20yards away for that SAME defender to chase me down and spam tackle before I could finish my first touch.

4) Passing delay/inaccuracy. There’s been countless times when I’ve had a boosted KDB facing the player he was passing to delay the pass an extra second or 1.5 seconds so the ball will be intercepted. I noticed the power meter going up on input so it’s not a server issue. Or I’ll try to dink the ball over an out of position defender with a very light tap and he’ll kick 30 yards down the field into a defender. 

5) AI inconsistency: Attacking AI can be mind numbingly frustrating even when you try to manually trigger runs. With the way defense AI is and recovery speed from undisciplined, reckless defense, it’s aggravating watching players standing around or totally disobeying instructions leaving you high and dry on a run. Midfield AI is good in high depth situations, but your backline is typically very bad in most situations when it comes to closing down long through balls and ground passes. I’ve scored so many goals and have been scored on so many times that the AI could’ve just made an easy tackle and just watched me do my thing. Also a lot of cutbacks most people concede should be easy interceptions.

6) Goalkeepers: I think it’s universally accepted how bad the keepers can be at times. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned though, is the keeper coming out of the goal on his own to challenge someone just to get torched.

7)Inconsistent pace: Having pacy players, for me, can be hit or miss. Some situations they are suitable, but most times it’s just like everyone is faster than me. I’ve got Vini, Salah, etc most of the time even when I’ve got nothing but green grass in front of me I will get chased down from behind with damn near anyone. Almost ALL of the time if I give even a slight sliver of space I will get ran past by just about anyone. 

8) There are times, even when I’m light with the left stick, where my players are moving like they are on ice. 

9) Lack of variety in the way people play end up making the game a little boring and aggravating. 80% of people I end up playing are trying to run to the byline for a cutback, turn merchant around edge of the box for a finesse, and now with Bacha trying to turn merchant for a cross. Games don’t have any real flow it’s just people trying to get to their favorite imbalanced mechanic. 

10) Deflections, while better, still happen to much. My biggest issue here is it seems like more often than not it lands right at an attackers feet whether it’s a deflected shot, pass, or a shot that hits the post. At least make them have to run to the ball most of the time instead of going “coincidentally” directly to an attacker. 

11) Big, strong players being nearly useless because even with good strength, good balance, and good ball control you can protect the ball against someone running full speed into your back and tackling around your player in a split second. I’m not talking about cheesing with protect ball, but moments where it makes sense to use it for a second with a player it should work with don’t seem to work out like that.

I’m sure I left some issues off the list but man this game would be absolutely AMAZING if they just fixed those things. As it is right now, I know I can’t do another year of this. I’ve finally reached a point where I can really move on from this game because I only enjoy it about 10-15% of the time I play it. I wonder why I play it as much as I do and don’t have a good answer other than I’ve already paid my money for it.

You got several good points and a superb list, iam pretty much stunned when i see it, you pointing out so many of the issues that i notice in gameplay.

Yes it could have been a really good game with some simple patch actually, the big issue for me is the matchmaking that is totally out of control, i can lose 20 - 30 games without a single win and iam been playing this for years and i never been loosing as i been in this game.

Last week i had two friends over and they was pretty good players in the past, we set up a contest that each and one of us got 10 games each and see how many wins we can get at one night, it was 2 wins 1 draw at 30 games, all we could do was laugh at that point.

In weekend leuge iam happy if i can get 2 wins of 20 games, its such a unbalanced game that its impossible to be competitive in game, "its a skill issue" absolute not but it is a server + matchmaking + gameplay issue.

I talked to 5 of my opponents yesterday and asked them about their connection, localocation and even if they was supercool dudes it didnt make any sense at all, the guys was playing on wifi 100 Mbit ( not all of them ) but there was one thing that they had in common and that was that was that everybody was from Germany and one guy from denmark.

So if i got Son to the left and Salah on the right and Haaland as a forward and the guys have exact same players but their players coperate as a team in game, meanwhile mine is slower, passing is diffrent, the AI is diffrent my thirst thing iam thinking at is the servers who haves direct effect on the gameplay, if my game aint got that 100 % connection as they have my gameplay is going to be totally diffrent and the mechanic in game aint gonna work, for an competitive game we aint playing fair games, i was never had a chance from the beginning.

The gameplay itself is pretty much run thru youre opponents team and score an easy goal, becouse youre opponents have the same mechanic in hes gameplay so even if i take the ball its comes right back to my opponents again and all i van do is to watch another bad celebration and a player who thinks he is superskilled... so if it should be a competitive game first of all the matchmaking needs to be a lot better, like for an example in fortnite or why not in Efootball.

Iam not saying that i should win every game but damn it all this losing is killing my game totally.

Tonight we are back at zero guys, the gameplay is so slow and my players cant pass one ball in the right direction, i got 9 of 9 losses in the weekend leuge.

The game refuse to connect to the servers, and 3 of 3 times my internet connection is 970 Mbit ha ha, nope iam done for toninght iam just going in and do selfgoals and give the rest of 11 en games to others, its just pointless to give this game any time at all.

@xXEliteWPlayerXxwho can blame you, iam uninstalled it erlier, enough is enough, and playing some fortnite now instead, 0 - 5 in ping and servers like a dream, and we got three wins and having a laugh here, this is what gaming is all about, fun and relaxing 🙂

This is the first year since i begin to play Ut back in 2009 i uninstalled an Fifa game, and iam not coming back ever again, iam waiting for Ufl instead and if i want football Efootball is good enough for me..

I never seen a product so broken and unfinnish as Eafc is from the beginning of this game to now, its just constant bugs, bad gameplay, horrible servers, costume service is a joke, i cant see anything good with it at all, just thinking about it makes me stressfull ha ha need a chillpill

Nah and the most funny part about it is that everything could be fixed over a night, close the servers, patch the game, fix the bugs and we got a fair play and really fun game but nope lets make new cards instead ha ha strange logic, i never saw this before, iam so happy that Ea open my eyes and showed me what kind of conpany they are and how they treat their cosumers, its baaaaaaaaad.

So fortnite it is and later some god of war ❤️🙏

I’m definitely hanging it up after this year. EA Sports forgot that most people game to unwind and relax. This game is far more frustrating than it should be.

Gameplay is just awful, players don’t respond to what you ask, feels like you’re fighting the game for control, keepers can’t hold onto a ball, tackling is still broken

I hear you guys, well this game is all about the servers, if youre game connects to the servers as it should i guess everything in the game works as well, but for the rest of us this game is just not worth to give any time, it may sound hard but iam on a 1000/1000 fibre connection and cant be competitive in game at all, this is the only game that i have this problem with.

For an example, take a look at their E Sports event, its a fraud, you know this guys aint specially skilled at all, what they got is perfect connection to the servers wich doing that the game pretty much playing it for them, and then Ea can sit on their high horses and pretend that it is a skilled based game, come on gaming today is just a big scam and sadly to say young kids see this and spend money to belive they got a chance, its a rigged game thats all that is, some get good server placement like youtubers, streamers, but for the rest of us it just a trash game.

Normally iam between 0 - 10 ping and super connected to the servers in all other games, but this is just awfule, now iam far from alone, have been speaking with so many players, specially from Sweden that cant play this game at all, reddit have some really good threads about Eafc, the only thing i dont understand is why there isnt a warning label on the game when u buy it, i meen iam paying for a game that isnt working and i have no idea that this even was a problem from the beginning 2023 and they cant make a game that works, unbelivible, its a simple football game nothing more nothing less, but ofcourse i would put my money in a diffrent game if i only now that this game is unplayeble.

Iam playing Fortnite and Cod tonight and my ping is 0 - 10 + that iam stream with absolute perfect connection to the servers, as soon i log in to Eafc iam between 16 - 25 with an horrible server connection, i totally understand why so many dropping off this game, it aint a competitive game if we aint got the same chance to reach the same kind of servers, its just not fair.

They should have a warningslabel that says: " we may not be able to provide you with a good server connection " buy at own risk, no iam dissapointed that i didnt know from the beginning but it is what it is, i still got my game left but dont play it anymore, maybie i give it away or somthing idk...

It’s literally the worst fifa game I’ve ever played not enough people speak about it I wish I could get a refund. If they don’t update it soon I’m getting my money back.

This game is not fun. I don’t feel happy playing it. I am never happy when I play this game compare to other games. This game sucks, I want my refund. This is a scam!

So tonight was the night ha ha i finally got some time for my self and i was thinking why not play some, my kids and wife is out and i got a whole night of gaming in front of me, why not test Fc24 again, i dont been playing for about two month but lets dust it off and game some.

Lets begin to test my internet speed, well a little below usually  ( post below ) but still pretty good, should be able to play a football game at least 😁

The resulate was 3 straight losses ( post below ) and the game is unistalled once again 🤣 and back to counterstrike or Fortnite again and have some fun instead 🤣

So what is the lesson of tonight, well if iam placed on a bad server and my opponents are placed on a fast server there will never be a competitive game, now iam sure this is exactly how they want it to be, but hey i saw at least that they had the time and effort to do more packs so the kids can buy more in game instead for patching up the game so their costumers can play it on same conditions, totally unbelivible but hey no hate at this point it so ironic.

Iam sure iam at Ea s secret shitlist and that dont make it any more easy but iam from a generation when if you aint a happy cosumer speak on it, i dont care about what kind of players i get in game, and i dont really care what list iam put on, anyway lets play some fps with real servers, without any codes or delays, with fantastic ping and have some fun instead 😁
