Re: FC 24, No access to Transfer market on Web and Companion app

Hey all, as we have repeatedly stated this is not a bug or an issue.

This is working as it should and if you wish to gain access to the transfer market you will simply need to continue playing.

It may take a week, it may take two, it may take a month or more for it to unlock.

No one at EA can grant you access or speed it up.

How long does it take to get access?

How long it takes to unlock the Transfer Market is based on a few different factors.

  • Your account history and if it’s in good standing by following the EAS FC rules.

  • How many different Ultimate Team™ accounts you’re using on the same device.

  • How many active days of Ultimate Team™ you’ve played.
    • An active day is when you’ve played three full matches in Ultimate Team™ and logged into the Web or Companion App within a calendar day, following UTC timezones, per Ultimate Team™ account.

Playing more than three matches per day won’t increase your chances of unlocking the Transfer Market.

Below are some examples of how many active days of playing it takes to get access to the Transfer Market.

  • For an Ultimate Team™ account that’s in good standing, and is the only account that’s been created on or logged into from a device, playing two active days would normally earn you access.

  • For an Ultimate Team™ account in good standing that’s not the only Ultimate Team™ account that’s been created on or logged into from a device, it would take at least four active days to earn access. Depending on the number of Ultimate Team™ accounts used on a device, it could take longer.
    • If you share your device with siblings or friends who also play Ultimate Team™, it may take more time to gain access on each Ultimate Team™ account.

Please make sure you take a look at the bolded part, playing 100 games a week won't speed it up.

    If it's an issue for your users, it is an issue.

    Won't get tired of repeating this every time you belittle our complaints.

    It's just how it is @Mcg4U8. Users with a past history of rule-breaking may be waiting some time for it to unlock. 

    If your account is in good standing and you play as per the suggestions then your time will be shorted than a user who has for example previously had a ban.

    @EA_Дарко So I have my first fifa on the console, why am I not getting access yet? No one has played with this device before.

    I just googled FIFA Account Standing and no bans we're found in my Account ever, yet its been 11 days Meeting all the criteria...

    What I think really weird is that my old fut team was ignored and now I am a fut founder from September 23???

    There is Something going in Here imo

    @EA_Darko I purchased a PlayStation 5 and the new FIFA Ultimate Edition on the 23rd of September. Since then, I’ve played every day and already have 70 hours of playtime. Despite my commitment, it’s frustrating not to have access. Everything is new: the console, my account, and the game. Why do I have to wait longer? Please help, it’s my first FIFA and potentially my last.

    In which conditions is the access not granted "normally" please? What is the abnormal criteria? I mean.. what are we doing wrong here? We've been playing according to the indications and we don't have ban history.

    That "normally" is passed now. I never had such a problem with previous FIFA editions. And why are people also seeing the Time Spent being reset, was this investigated? Is this connected somehow to the access granting mechanics?

    We understand that you have your own rules and orders to follow around here, but we only try to see what did we do wrong.

    What if we get access to the market in July next year? Is this a possibility? If yes, how is this useful or why would a game unlock itself fully only after months?! It makes no sense.

    Everyone should have access to the market. If there are people who cheat, they should be banned and that's that.

    @EA_Darko Why does it take over a month to get access? When EA charges my card the money is gone instantly. Why can’t I get the feature I paid for instantly? At the very least give some firm requirements because the automated system doesn’t work.

    @William_Bowman Exactly, no clue of what they are doing and their own link says play for 4 days.

    This EA guy says it might take months!! He must be kidding, right? No, no, he is joking, right? WHY would I wait a month! Am I taken for granted for just a game! ? No dear, if I will not get my refund I will charge back my credit. RIP EA.

    exactly, what hurts me is that each of us paid the same $ amount for the game and some can use all the features and others (us) can't....

    @EA_Darko Can you please explain us why Matches in Playtime is 0/0 while I played match daily (at least 3,4 matches daily). Attached screenshot for reference.

    Playtime is enabled in my account.

    @EA_Darko, I know you are not at fault for the problem. But this response is not helpful.

    The game is designed in such a way where, realistically, you HAVE to work the market to build a competitive team, complete SBCs, etc. But we are not allowed to use it. EA has put you in a helpless situation where you have to state "no one at EA can help you", and send us to an absolutely useless post that provides no solutions, just vague suggestions of what might happen.

    I don't know how you can't see that's a problem.

    A better response would be ... we recognize your concerns and have raised it to the product management team for resolution/remediation.

    It's not like this is a version 1 release of software. This franchise has been around since 1997?

    Imagine opening an account at a bank, but only being allowed to access you account via teller. Not the web app, not the mobile. People would close their accounts and take their money to another bank without a second thought.

    There are FAR better ways to detect and prevent fraud. This is just failure of customer service; failure of addressing the fraud problem. EA reported 7.42 billion dollars of revenue this year. I struggle to believe this is the best EA can do. So the only conclusion one can make is that EA doesn't care.

    @EA_Darko It will be hell for honest players who play the game manually because of players placing bots in the web app. This is very sad, we will not be able to buy or sell anything in the transfer market. Please prevent buying and selling players from the web app. Or bring console-specific SBCs to the game

    If I have another account that got banned on fc 24 and start a new account, does that banned account affect how long it takes for the new account to gain access?

    The moderator said it could take upto or over a month? Wtf is up with that? It's a big part of the game to alot of us and for them to say we have to "earn the right" to their paying customers it's pretty appalling

    easy to say innit 'somethig we won't alow' but we have to alow the fact that this issue is still a thing that after 6-7 months of 'ea fc' the transfer market is still blocked maybe focus on that..
