Player Career - Skill points not adding properly

Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Player Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to upgrade a player in player career
What happens when the bug occurs? Stats won't apply, overall stays at 78 and player will not upgrade. When i am editing my players skill tree, the stats read as they should. When i go back to the menu, they are all roughly 20 points lower than they should be.
What should be happening instead? Player should be upgrading with skill points being spent.

1st career worked fine, had to delete that due to another bug. Tried 2 new ones since, and player will not upgrade properly.
