It doesn't work for Career Mode. It's not a workaround it's a chore that literally doesn't work. Brother please it cannot be that hard to fix a thing that has worked flawlessly for TWO DECADES!??? Is this ever going to be sorted man please @EA_Pulsar
@EA_Pulsar Thank you for your message, but it's unfortunate to hear that the issue is "still under investigation" despite all the clear evidences provided by the users.
I would like to suggest / ask for the following:
1. Please officially acknowledge that there is a bug related to "editing team/squad, formation" and that EA is working on this issue to resolve it. Currently, many offline-mode users are frustrated because they fear that EA will prioritize their resources on online modes only. It seems to me that users' frustrations are rightful & justified, as EA issued live tuning update on Oct 10 to modify "game balance" applicable mainly for online modes, while this serious bug remains unattended.
2. Also, this "workaround" (Post #151) is not working properly for many users, so you should not be posting this as an alternative workaround. It's simply misleading and irresponsible.

The fact that you shared post 151 as a “workaround” shows me that you are not taking this situation seriously. If you actually tried doing what the post suggests, you’d realise that it doesn't work, but you couldn’t even be asked to do that. Since release, you guys have had 2 title updates (Mostly UT Based), 1 server release addressing issues with Evos (UT Based), and as of recent, a live tuning update, addressing things like speed boasts (Again, UT & Online Based). This issue doesn't affect UT, so it’s getting next to no recognition. If UT players were having this issue, you guys would've fixed it within hours. It’s honestly embarrassing!

This is a disgrace, it's not surprising coming from a mercenary company that only thinks about profit and money, they even included women in Ultimate Team since the last EAFC so they could sell more cards, make more profit and make the game even more unrealistic. The biggest protest we can give is to spread this as much as possible, and never buy any Electronic Arts games again.

EASPORTS doesn't respect me as a consumer, I don't give a * about them either, I'm going to the Brazilian courts asking for my money back and I will NEVER buy any game from this garbage company again, I'm also publicizing this total disregard and this bizarre bug on my Instagram account with more than 13 million followers.
Knowing this company I doubt they will fix this bug, it will stay like this until the next EAFC 26 which will come with new bugs and a simple update of transfers and uniforms as happens every year and for an even higher price, if it was something from Ultimate Team which is filling the * of this mercenary company with money, they could be corrected, as I doubt there will be corrections. Their next update will be changing something useless that no one ever asked for, just to make improvements to the game, such as the height of the ball when crossing in rush mode, or any other irrelevant change that goes unnoticed by everyone. Just to let you know that they are releasing new updates. This mercenary company that only thinks about money doesn't fool anyone anymore, see the rating of their game on metacritic is always below 3, the users' rating
This is kind of absurd. First FIFA (FC) title I've had since 23, and before that, 19. Insane that simple features in those games are impossible to do for this "brand-new" one. I only play these games for career mode, but now I can't even enjoy playing as winger for my club but as a left/right midfielder.
The neglect EA gives to offline players is such a disgrace, I genuinely hope that FIFA's team up with 2k or Konami completely throw this company out of the football market.
Day 22, this bug is still there and I can't play a game that cost me 100 euros.
It's a total disregard, the worst is when you change the team's formation without the ball and change it with the ball, or don't save the team's strategy in tactics in career mode.

As I said, it will not be fixed in this eafc 25, only in eafc 26 they will fix this, on the other hand it will come with new bugs
two other things.
1/ from the outside this topic has an EA Approved solution. that means it's probably not getting looked at. Kindly remove that tag because it's quite simply not true.
2/ the managers @EA_Pulsar @EA_Vendcera @EA_Lanna @EA_Mako are very active in other subforums and bug reports. In Ultimate Team issues they're responding multiple times a day and giving far better care and responses compared to the ones they've given here. They are intentionally ignoring this bug report (which they can see coz we're tagging them regularly) so i dont know if there's a higher authority but these guys really need to be reported or something. I dont know if they're even real people anymore coz EA Support has never been this bot-like and pathetic.
