Generally fed up with the EAFC25 Release

Something really needs to be done about the latest release of EAFC25. I have played the game since its FIFA days and for the past few years at Legendary Level. The EAFC25 release following one of the recent updates has become almost unplayable. The Team Management area of the platform is not fit for purpose with effectively only one in-game visit permitted before it crashes and forces a Restart. There are also other scenarios when a Restart is forced by the game not operating as it should. The simulation is not what it was and far less authentic than in previous releases. Oppositions at all levels have abilities far exceeding the reality and the loss of authenticity has taken the fun from playing the game. I now resort to playing the first half in Sim Mode to hopefully get a half-time lead and then hopefully defend it in the second half once I have made use of the one and only chance to make substitutions. Of course, if a player gets sent off the game will cease to function if you attempt to enter Team Management to change formations to cope with one player less. The Controllers do not appear to respond to the human intervention in the way they always have in the past. You can have a team full of world class players against a L2 outfit like Harrogate and it's a fairly even bet as to who will win. Harrogate's touch, tackling, shooting and pace more than match those of the World Class players. The number of times a first touch gets away just before the creation of an opportunity is just ridiculous and feels more like AI being in control of my team than what I am doing through the Controller. Similarly, in a foot race with an opponent why do the gamer's players' start treading water thus allowing an opponent to gain possession of the ball. Keeping possession is one of the key elements of the gameplay but it has become incredibly weighted in favour of the Opponent. Similarly, some of the passing and clearances made by the opposition are simply far-fetched with no connection to reality. It's a shame really because the game has been excellent and was, until now, generally receiving improvement. Sadly, a rewind and reset is now required if any further releases are going to be worth buying. Personally, if nothing changes then I will revert to the 2024 version and play that instead.
