First game of the season is away against Viborg. sees a debut for Gutierrez in midfield. Opoku and said are on the bench for this outing. First half uneventful. Striker iredale had a shot from edge of the box coming close but being saved. All AAB through the match. Debuts to Opoku and said off the bench helped made an impact. Ross made the difference with a phenomenal inswinging ball to the head of John breaking the deadlock. Game finished 0-1 which was a deserved win. Player of the match was easily Ross.
Our first home game of the season saw a first start for new signing Haas against Nordsjaelland. John made a difference in the 17th minute dribbling down the right handside and drilling the ball to an onrushing Haas who had an easy finish. John and Ross combined again with a lovely dink from Ross over the backline which John tucked home. This is seemingly a promising relationship and Ross seemingly is adjusting really well to that left wing role. Great two nil win carrying the momentum. MOTM: John.
August 2024
Young 16 year academy prospect Skov has started training with the first team. It is thought he is a forward with a nice amount of pace. It remains to be seen if Hunter will play him in any upcoming matches.
First game of August was against Silkeborg away. It also saw our first loss of the season. 6 mins in we took the lead with a lovely team move was capped off by loanee Opoku after John slipped him through. First goal of the season conceded when Adamsen capitalised on a spilled shot to equalise for Silkeborg. They then went 1 ahead when Bakiz shot from range. The MOTM in this one was their player Adamsen. Seems like rotation cost AAB.
Despite our start we only find ourselves in 5th place. We face 2nd place AGF at home in the next game. This will be our toughest test thus far.

Welcome to the forum mate! Brilliant to see a new face here. Playing with Viborg myself currently, it's also nice to see someone else give the Danish league a shot 🙂
