I really don’t know what they can do. Maybe a vote kick but that seems like it will be abused. They could also tie wins into objectives. That’s the reason people afk so needing a win would stop it. Then you would probably go down a point and everyone quit. I suppose that would be better.
This is one of the most frustrating issues with fifa.. Its the only game mode I really enjoy and its almost impossible to get a game without some-one being AFK. I've even played ones where once you are up by a few goals people just go AFK hoping that is enough.
I've got my own solution.. block them.. My block list on Fifa is gigantic now as anyone I go into a game with that goes AFK for the whole game is added so I don't have to play with them again hopefully.
It's simple. If they don't press the pass button or tackle button in a minute they get kicked and temp banned for 10 minutes.
A minute is to long to wait. It should be like 20 seconds. if you dont press tackle, pass, or shoot you get booted.

they could give points only to those who get more than 6 raiting.. and make a possible report and take measures in the case of reports... I really like the mode and it's the only reason why I bought the game.. yes it's not playable and I don't have any fun with this kind of players...
When I play CB, where the others are too attacking, I will only keep my player where the opponent might pass. It will ruin the play for the opponent, but the ratings give no credit for it. Sometimes I feel like the MOM as a defender, while getting 6.
I feel it's best when all play defence and all play attack.
Sure you can stay back a bit sometimes, but sometimes that makes you miss the chances as the opponents outnumber your attack.
If you get most interceptions or most aerial etc you get credits for it.

You could block and report them for going AFK then ea issues a 1 week ban stopping them from earning further points and challenges for the week.

By ‘you’ you mean EA, right? As we cannot report them for AFK. Only block them but that does nothing.
