I appreciate the comparison you've drawn to Intel. The arrogance of EA could very well lead to their downfall. It's astonishing how companies, as they grow, fail to learn from the missteps of those who came before them, like Nokia, Blockbuster, and Intel. Their time may be limited, and I suspect they are aware of that on some level. Personally, I find some individuals in the industry to exhibit sociopathic tendencies. There are countless design choices made solely to frustrate users. Why create a game that elicits such negative emotions? Human behavior can be perplexing, bordering on the malicious. Individuals like Sam Rivera and Andrew Wilson, among others at the company, seem to behave unethically. Yet, in the grand scheme of things, nothing goes unpunished, and they will eventually face the consequences of their actions.
