EA FC26 Poor gameplay

Poor gameplay!! my players keep passing directly to opponent players regardless of my input. I do not understand why the  basic commands that allows us to have a fulfilling gameplay keep failing.players do not tackle at all, they tackle towards the wrong direction or tackle with the least favourable foot to win the ball. We spend a good amount of time playing your game only to lose because simple game mechanics constantly fail. FIX YOUR GAME!!!!
