EA please help (pass on feedback)

EA_Darko

Could you please pass on some feedback to the developers regarding UT Champs regarding goalkeeper controls.

I'm a disabled gamer and I use a mouth operated controller called a QuadStick to play. The QuadStick is amazing but as I'm sure you can imagine it is impossible to access all the required controls using limited input methods.

One control I can't use is pushing down right stick to control the goalkeeper and this usually isn't a problem because in most game modes the goalkeeper will try to save the ball.

However in UT Champs the goalkeeper doesn't do a thing and just stands there? I think because in UT Champs the 'auto save' setting must be set to manual and manual movement of the goalkeeper is required to even try make a save. My 94 and 95 rated goalkeepers just stand dead still while the ball goes straight past them, they don't move at all.

It makes, what is usually a difficult game for me to play, absolutely impossible and completely pointless. Most of the UT Champs games I play end up with my opponents scoring 10 or more goals.

Please help.

  • Man this game is crap, I just played a champs game where half the other players team was gold cards and those gold card players ran faster, dribbled better and shot better than my 95+ rated icons, TOTS and shapeshifter players.

They had a 76 rated common gold card goalkeeper who saved 13 shots at goal... what complete crap!

  • They should make defending and using gks easier for someone disabled. You basically have to be an octopus to be able to right stick switch for defending and gks so I don’t know how someone disabled could do it.

RadioShaqs thanks mate, I think so too! I can't do any skill moves and I'm okay with that because you can still play and compete without them but it's definitely a disadvantage when it comes to defending and controlling gk's.

These 2 areas pretty much make playing champs pointless, it's fairly soul crushing losing by 8 to 10 goals. I played one game and I lost 23-0 lol.

  • I wouldn’t stress to much. It’s pretty amazing that you can play at all. One of the nice things ea does is give a lot of money to charity and also work to make it easier and accessible for disabled gamers. I believe they opened up all their patents for free for disabilities. That way other companies can use it to help disabled gamers too. You don’t see a lot of companies do that.
