Well I am sure ea would be going off numbers and money. Before the patch they were losing money.
One would assume if ea didn’t want to keep losing money they would change the gameplay and then keep it to make the majority happy.
Unless you think ea wants to lose money? Maybe they are lying by saying the majority like it.
Let’s say ea is lying and the majority dislike easier offense higher scoring games why would ea do that knowing they had been losing money? Do you think ea doesn’t like money?
Also I can be objective people always accuse me of not being objective. Just because I want the skill gap larger I can see the majority don’t agree with my opinion.
I can link the threads where people said how much they liked it. I know it’s weird because usually I am defending the gameplay but it was them defending ea. if anything they want it faster they want it more arcade.

You're confusing a couple of things here. They have already sold 15% fewer games according to some reports so that a lone suggests 15% don't even care enough to buy the game this year and that could reasonably suggest they didn't like the fundamentals of the gameplay/game from the outset. So that "majority" already has 15% deducted.
The share price also tanked. The share price usually reacts to good or bad news (monetary or otherwise) so yes with the constant negativity I am seeing, I imagine EA are putting a good spin on things to mitigate the damage. It still hasn't recovered to the peak in December/January. Only positives I hear is from some scummy news media outlets and we all know they'd lie about there own mother if you pay them enough. Same goes for influencers on social media, pay them and they'll sing like a parrot. I imagine EA are using that to suggest, the "majority" like it.
As I said, it doesn't make sense to me that the majority are enjoying the game or gameplay - seems a far stretch when their sales are down, share price is down, the regular negativity and there being no real evidence of it suggesting otherwise.
You don't have to link threads, I am sure they exist and I already said they do but many criticizing seems to outweigh the positives (ignoring the potential platforms that can be bought) which is why this "majority" comment leads me to think its BS and baseless unless I am shown something concrete. Their sales and share price decline seems to suggest the contrary .
Would EA lie, manipulate, spin things? Are they capable of being that scummy? Of course they are just look at their 'lack of crap given' attitude here.
PS you protecting EA at every opportunity even when evidence suggests otherwise makes me question your agenda here again. You do seem like one of the components in their spin cycle.
