Account-Specific Gameplay Delay – All Tests Done, Still Unplayable
Hi all,
I’m posting here as instructed by EA Help after weeks of extensive testing and no resolution.
Issue: My main EA account experiences consistently sluggish gameplay in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team. The delay, input lag, and poor positioning make the game unplayable – but only on this account.
I have tested:
- Multiple consoles and locations
- Different networks (fiber, 4G, mobile hotspot)
- New PSN + EA accounts → gameplay is smooth
- DNS, MTU, port forwarding, and full factory reset of PS5
- Same setup, same network, same device – only the EA account differs
My main account is clearly linked to some kind of degraded matchmaking, routing, or server-side issue. I suspect something has gone wrong with my connection profile or account flags.
What I’m asking for:
- Review and escalate this as an account-level issue
- Reset or refresh matchmaking/server routing profile
- Pass this on to the studio or devs if needed
I’ve done absolutely everything a player can do on their own – it’s now up to the dev side.
