controller issue

Hi, I recently purchased EA Sports FC 25 from EA App on my computer. All works fine but when I connect my wired controller it doesn't work on my FC25. It is recognized by my PC and works fine on FIFA 19 and other games but not on FC 25. I tried all the ports and disabled game overlay from EA Apps and updated my drivers and run the game as an administrator, still the problem persists. Any help guys? Thank you
