EA Servers Unavailable
I can’t access FUT because every time I try to connect to ea servers it says they’re down. I have troubleshot everything and spoken to an advisor who also couldn’t help
I would like to point out the "Champions" match at bottom of list - 38 seconds of match time, 3.5 seconds approx of real time, game pauses from my view and unable to control players. Able to rejoin match once I'm already 3-0 down. Just a joke when it's the only match with Ping where I expect it to be as per Which broadband speed test.
Packet loss from command prompt:
All this information and test taken in last 10 minutes.
Prior to that once again had the "unable to connect to EA servers" whilst in middle of Squad Battles match which will count for 0 points.
This is a wired connection. As soon as FC25 or EA other games are played somehow Ping goes from 10 to 24-30 ms
I've said before, I work from home via wireless connection and can take video calls, access systems online without any issues. Other uses of internet, streaming services etc have no issues either.
I want you to explain why it's only EA's games that have connectivity issues as it's not my connection that is at fault
EA_Aljo The below screenshot wasn't accepted in previous post
41 is a pretty low download speed these days. You might want to limit the other devices that are connected to your network to free up as much bandwidth as possible.
What other EA games are you having this problem with?
I'm sorry? 41 Mbps is slow? It's the best possible speed in my area. So EA are discriminating based on geographical area? 41 Mbps is what I've had since FC25 game released in September 2024 without any kick outs of Ultimate Teams and then in last couple of weeks it's happening each day, sometimes multiple times even after rebooting PC.
Let's be clear. Even when I had an issue with my phone line losing dial tone Plusnet reduced my max download speed to 20 Mbps and I had no issues with connectivity! This shows, at least to me, that it's not my connection that is the issue.
The PC is only thing connected, by CAT6 cabling to my router. when I'm playing FC25, FC24 or PGA Golf
We're not discriminating. Compared to today's speeds, 41 is on the lower end. I'm not saying you can't play with that speed, but a game like FC 25 that is transmitting a lot of data back and forth is going to perform better on a faster connection. This is a technology issue. Not discrimination.
You mention only having your PC connected. Are there no phones or smart devices sharing the connection by anyone in your household? Are you streaming anything on your PC while you play? This all will have an impact on your connection.
Household of one.. My age in 50-60 bracket, I'm not some whining teen. I know IT systems are connectivity. PC is only item connected to router when I'm playing FC25 or other games..
When I'm "kicked" from Ultimate Teams and exit FC25 I find it highly suspicious that all my friends on EA app are also out of FC25 at same time
The issue isn't individual user connections it's how EA servers are dealing with the traffic and they've changed something within their protocols in recent updates.
Don't bother replying to this unless you have a proper explanation.
This is categorically wrong. FC25 will not be using this much data, it is absurd. I would be surprised if it used more than 150MB PER HOUR outside of patches/updates.
