Yep same issue since buying it last week. Unable to link. Kick Off Mode not syncing Profile. Just get Player 1 and 2 is the only choice. Every year you can link to your PS account so you can keep all stats against friends etc.

Does say ‘connect online’ at the bottom right I do that and nothing happens.
Rest of the game is working fine online etc. As mentioned from the previous post it happened last Sep too.
Hopefully there's a patch to this soon I Wonder where ate the community managers?

I am from Kuwait and I'm facing the same issue and cannot sync or link any name when playing against friends. Hope they solve this cuz it's so frustrating.
