Which mode has this happened in? Kick off
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select Kick Off, select Classic Match or any game mode, it will show your Kick Off Name as Player1 and gives you no option to change it or connect it to with your online profile.
What happens when the bug occurs? Because it never gives me the option to connect my Kick Off Name to my online profile - every time I turn my console off it completely clears my Win/Draw/Loss record as well as my stats.
What should be happening instead? The game should be able to keep track of my stats and allow me to edit and connect my Kick Off Name to my online profile.
Also I noticed some players do not have their updated jersey numbers, for example Lois Openda should be #11 for RB Leipzig and Xavi Simons should be #10 now, also for RB Leipzig.
Hey did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same issue and it’s driving me mad.
Same problem on PS5. The missing kick off names (and thereby saving of data/stats) is not only incredibly annoying - it may also be the reason why I can’t play return legs in Champions League semifinals.
Hope this is on top of EA’s list of bugs to fix.

Have the exact same issue - cmon EA this should be an easy fix and better be at the top of your list! You can’t market a game with a specific feature, tell your customers you can track detailed kickoff stats with friends when you start kick off mode and not have this basic feature on the day of release! This is fraudulent
Same issue in Egypt, and it's almost 10 days now since the official release without any solution for it. This is totally unacceptable and so frustrating, what a total waste of money EA!!!
