Game crashes when entering match – FC25 (PC)
Platform:
PC
EA App
System Specs:
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K
RAM: 64GB
OS: Windows 11 (Fully updated)
DirectX 12
L‑Connect: Uninstalled for testing purposes
Issue Description:
The game runs perfectly in the menus – no lag, no crashes, everything works smoothly.
However, once I enter an actual football match (whether online or offline), the game crashes randomly during gameplay.
It doesn’t crash immediately — sometimes it happens at minute 10, other times minute 30 — but it always crashes during the match itself.
It never happens in the menus or before kickoff.
There’s no error message. The game just instantly closes and sends me back to the desktop.
Troubleshooting Already Done:
- Uninstalled L‑Connect software
- Fully updated GPU drivers (clean install)
- Fully updated Windows (latest build, 24H2 with KB5062660)
- Repaired/verified game via EA App
- Tested with DirectX 11 launch command
- Monitored system temps (no overheating)
- Disabled EA Anti-Cheat and relaunched as admin
- Removed any unnecessary background apps
Additional Notes:
• The game worked perfectly fine for 2 weeks after release.
• No hardware issues — this is a high-end gaming PC with more than enough power.
• The crash happens whether I’m playing online or offline.
• Other users seem to report similar issues — this may be a game-level bug.
Please fix this — FC25 is currently unplayable in its current state.
