My 14 year old son pre-ordered EAFC 25 a couple of months ago on his Playstation 4 account. He installed it this morning but keeps getting the message: "Online service is disabled on your Account for Playstation Network due to parental control restrictions." We have checked the parental control settings on Playstation and they shouldn't be causing a problem. It seems that he has full access if he logs in on my (adult) account but not his own account, which is not what he wants to do. Please can you advise how we fix this? Thank you. Hi @SquizzerLFC,

Since you checked the parental controls and everything seems fine. I suggest that he tries other online games to check if it will allow them to go online, if it doesn't then it might be worth checking with PlayStation support to see if everything is ok with the settings. As of now, we haven't received any other reports like this one, I will keep an eye and raise this with our team in case it's an issue on our side.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
The only other EA game that my son has installed is F1 23, he's checked that and it is working fine online.
He is able to access EAFC 25 from my adult account, and that is working fine too online, but if he uses that it means that he loses all of the bonuses that he should have had from paying extra for the Ultimate Edition (he bought it on his account).
We checked his EA account, and linked it to mine in case that helped re the management of his age etc, but it didn't make a difference. He is 14 and my understanding that the age for accessing online features is 13 in the UK (where we live and his account is registered to) so, again, I'm not sure why he is having a problem (FC 24 was fine).
We also double checked that web browsing is enabled on his PS account, which it is.
I've spent the morning trying to contact PlayStation support as well just in case, but I keep getting cut off after waiting 45 minutes to connect to an online agent. I will keep trying just in case.

I am also having this same issue
My 13 year old lad woke up earlier, to play it. Kept getting same as you.
He was playing fc24 last night with no issues, and fortnite worked this morning as I got him to check it

There's an option on PSN Parental controls to make an exception for a game. Can you please try that step?

@antslater Yes, we get the exact same message. My son has a random Teacher Training Day today too - which has ended up being a bit of a disappointment...

@EA_cuervo Hi, yes we did look at that, but it says it's for PS5 consoles only (my son has a PS4).

We have the exact same issue. The exceptions feature is only for PS5 and not PS4. We have allow all for everything for PS4 and all other games work online. I suppose this is a bug that needs to be fixed. We can play online using my parent account, but that doesn't have all the extra stuff he payed for of course.
My son is a bit disappointed since he spent a lot of money for the early access.

We have exactly the same issue. Seems to only be an issue on PS4.
