Question

&lt;p&gt;A few weeks ago — more specifically, one day after the penultimate Update 16*, at the end of the season — it seems the matchmaking system in Division Rivals on the old generation (PS4) was changed or made worse. I'm in the Elite Division and it takes me 2 to 3 hours just to find 1 or 2 matches. It's terrible.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It feels like they added some sort of block or time restriction to prevent matching with certain players — maybe to avoid repeated games against the same opponents. This is seriously affecting casual players.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I just want to be able to find more matches to complete the weekly wins. I’m begging: please fix this.&lt;/p&gt;

I think this can be a problem as people want matchmaking to be smaller to make games more even. The problem is wait times increase. I’ve seen people saying they want to wait longer but if the wait is longer than a minute I think it’s to long even if the matches are more fair.&nbsp;

I’ve played other games that have had to adjust wait times vs more equal match ups. Titan fall was one of the worst ones as they tried to prioritize equal matches over wait times. I also played league of legends where they were constantly adjusting new modes because of wait times.

Realistically any game with skilled matchmaking is doing some kind of juggling of time vs skill. I think a game is better off doing less skilled matchups and lowering the wait time but that’s just me. I’ve also seen other say they will wait an hour for a closer matchup.
