Game froze and automatically chose seasonal rewards

So I've been having issues with the game freezing and crashing a lot and today was no different. I was struggling through sbc's and saw I had seasonal rewards to claim. I noticed I'd got to a player I wanted to use (Hummels) when it froze again. I was pressing buttons trying to get it to work and nothing. I went away and left it only to come back and see that it has claimed florenzi, the first guy. In my anger I quick sold florenzi as I didn't want him or care about that player. Is there anyway I can get Hummels? I spoke to EA chat and they were less than helpful
