Is my future stars evo bugged?

I chose Pisilli and have completed Both Methodical Midfielder I and Methodical Midfielder II. After completing the second one he’s become and Evolution II card and I can no longer evo him with future stars academy evos, meaning I can’t complete part III, add any playstyles, upgrade weak foot etc…

I have NOT given him any other evos, only those two. I don’t understand why he’s now an Green Evolutions II card and not a future stars evo card…

Is this a bug?
