Pack Probabilities

Yeah, I've opened 200+ packs and only seen 2 fodder 88's from the promo.

Yeah it just feels ridiculous. I don't think it helps that they have individual probabilities for a rating, and for certain players. It's kind of obviously rigged against us, take Theo Hernandez and Van Dijk, or base Mbappe. They clearly have extremely low probabilities for the individual players, so when you see probabilities that they release on the store per say. I've never seen them explain that part of it to anyone, I get Hegerberg way more often than anyother 89 rated, and Martinez way more than any other 87 rated. It's getting to a point where they are pushing the store way too hard, if it wasn't for the fact someone got me it for Christmas I probably wouldn't be playing it. Thank god I never had to pay full price for this, the gameplay itself is at the least as bad as always with a million and one bouncebacks, gameplay that feels different from mode to mode within ultimate team, and numerous server issues. It's honestly ridiculous that people pay anymore than the game price because none of the money they spend is going towards anything that actually benefits the game.

Not  to mention the season rewards  This late in the game and hey are rewarding 80x3 and 78x5 for progression like they are a gift from the heavens. 

That's just another sign they are out of ideas, they don't have any clue how to gauge what the player base feels would be consistent at this time of year, and they don't want their biggest whales and players playing for 6 months for a new player to have almost as good a team within a few weeks. That's my opinion at least, but their game cycle is dead as it is. The start of every season is copy and paste essentially, they give mad amounts of sbc objectives which is great, but like with the dreamchasers grind or grassroots greats grind, they don't provide enough players in bronze or silver to actually do every day, which is part of the reason it becomes pointless because the rewards for those grinds generally **bleep**.

Realistically the EA heads need to go to a couple of years cycle on the game for multiple reasons. Whilst they lose the sale of the game every year, it would mean that they could extend promos to being a couple of weeks long, giving people more of a chance to get the cards, if they want to keep low probabilities at least. It would create breathing room for the Devs to be able to actually work on the promos and gameplay, rather than just crank out slop every year. Finally, you could essentially double season length, which sounds counter intuitive to start with, I mean it already takes little effort to get to the highest level.

However, they could tack on extra unlockable packs when you reach a new level on the season. Personally, I think they need to make it so that every level after 40 is like a repeatable 87+ ×5 or maybe 10, that way people have something to grind for once they are at the end. Since I got the game in December I have consistently found myself with 2 weeks or more at the end of a season where I get nothing for playing, except for the obj rewards which generally **bleep** at this point in the game cycle anyway. Again though, the most important part is that devs would have time to actually work on the next game, start alpha and beta tests earlier to work out kinks in advance, and make them longer periods. If they suffer another release like this one then I think a lot of people will really lose it with EA, which enough already have and left.

I think you nailed it with a lot of what you said . the end of season extras would be a cool idea. I usually have at least a solid week plus of playing  after finishing the season.  that is without buying any of the kits to do those objectives either. 

It would be nice to see some of these promo cards get more use by extending the time frame out. But like we all know they just want to push them out 

We need less promos worse pack weights less sbcs and fewer rewards. Ea has ruined the market by listening to the community for more more more. 

While the gameplay was worse in older fifas the market was so much better.  We had almost no rewards and pack weight was worse. 

Cards held value and informs meant something. Right now every card but a few at the top are discard. Trading was time consuming in the older fifas but it’s nothing like the menu grind now. 

Less promos I agree. with you. They actually need to put some thought into the promos they are doing instead of just worrying about building a $40 pack

Worse pack weights than we currently have?   I'm pretty sure they are pretty horrible already.   Look a the packs they are giving out for grinding objectives, and even he season ladder at this point in the game. 

It shouldn't be bout fewer rewards, but rewards that actually have value to them.  Rivals for instance.  Im not top tier player, but Last season and others i've made it to div 3, the last two weeks I can't even get upgraded rewards in Div 5.  Do I need to get better sure, but I mean the rewards for having to get 45 points aren't that good, and thats assuming you win every match.  While not even getting one point or a loss, people can be playing well over 45 games for mediocre rewards.   The value of he pack really doesn't add up to the time and effor **bleep** can take to get said pack. My opinion. 

Gameplay, not even gonna get started on that since this thread is about pack weights,.  I will say I clipped a video last night of my Rolfo running like the road runner in place., and that was just one I had to clip because of how ridiculous it looked.

RadioShaqsI can understand where you are coming from with less promos, sbcs, and fewer rewards. However, most of their current player base wanting all of these things is the reason they are there. That's why I chose the options I did, if EA want to stick with the current way of things then it's the best ways I can think to actually improve it. Plus the devs could use a couple of years to actually get the game up to scratch.

Also, the fact that they increase their pack weight would make whales even happier as they will almost be guaranteed all the best cards. I'm quite content with not getting the best cards as they aren't an indicator of how good a person is, plus I find that a lot of players just don't feel that nice for me personally.

I don't mind the menu grind in between games, it's a nice way to take a break if you are grinidng but want to stop for food or something. All I'm really trying to do is find ways to appease the player base and the company, after that it's about the devs having the time they need to get it right, rather than ship out slop all the time and take heat for it.

Nunya1287  that's the reason I want the extras, there is always so much wasted sp that I receive no matter what. Take last season, I could of gone at least an extra 10 levels over, so it would be nice to get something for that rather than watch it go to waste.

It would help with a lot of sbcs aswell, I get that choosing the correct one to do is a skill in itself, but even then the amount they cost is astronomical, and if the pack weight can't keep up then it's clear they want people to go in the store all the time. I've used the store before for emergencies when finishing an sbc to make sure all the squads I've put in aren't wasted, but it's not something I look to all time. I want to earn what I've got through rewards and sbcs, not just by putting a bunch of money on a game that you already have to pay for anyway.

it's so obvious EA. Lets drop a massive SBC And EVO so people spend there coins on the EVO and need fodder for the SBC. The packs are nerfed. But there are packs in the store with high end fodder....
